First off, I love Subway. I eat at one at least once a week. When we went to this one for the first time everything seemed fine. We ordered 6" subs and the "Make it a meal" option which, for an extra $2.50 gives you a 21 ounce drink and either chips or 2 cookies. It even says so on the sign (not to mention my years of regular visitation to Subways around the city).
We usually opt for the cookies to save for dessert later. So we get our food and I notice each of us only has 1 cookie. I take the tray back to the counter and explain we were shorted 1 cookie each. The person at the counter told me that with a 6" sub, the "Make it a meal" option only allows 1 cookie. That's ridiculous since that option costs THE SAME no matter what size sub you're ordering. After trying to explain this simple concept to all 3 employees in the store, one of them being a manager, I gave up since they were all convinced I was wrong.
I contacted Subway Corporate and they confirmed I was not wrong.
I can't believe the people working there truly thought only 1 cookie was due to people paying the same yet getting a smaller sandwich. The terms of the "Make it a meal" add-on are clear, but these people apparently wanted a couple of free cookies and saw an opportunity to steal from some new customers. That was a mistake because I've been leaving this review at review sites across the internet and will keep doing so until there are no more sites I can think of.

Read moreI eat Subway every day of the work week. Customer service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced. After walking in, I waited for five minutes and not until I yelled "Hello" did someone came out from the back.(looked like she was putting her cell phone down when she came out). She came out with the most horrible attitude I have ever experienced...But....I was hungry and on a time limit and decided to over look it. After telling her what I wanted, she began to literally throw my sandwich together with great disguss. Another gentleman walked in while she was attempting to make my sandwich, and he was of the same race as the server, and immediately I noticed how nice she was to him. Once again, I ignored it and continued on. At the register, she asked what type of chips, since they choose to keep them behind the counter at this location, and I said the baked Lays all the way to the left. Of course, she didnt know her right from her left, so she grabbed the wrong ones and when I corrected her she rolled her eyes as if I had insulted her. After paying and being totally disgusted at this point, I requested to speak to the manager or at least a number I could call. She called to the back and that person came out yelling from behind the counter to me across the room asking "you need something". At this point, you know why I decided to make this review. There was only 1 customer in the place who was already eating and one of the employees was standing at a table talking to someone. This left only one employee behind the counter. So my co-worker ordered his sandwich and then was waiting at the cash register to check out. Obviously the employee was new because she told my co-worker that the other employee standing by the table would ring it up. So then I ordered my sandwich and as she was finishing it, my co-worker was still waiting to pay. The employee finally rang him up and he waited on me. So when I went to pay, I used a coupon that was "buy 1 six inch and any drink and get another six inch free". Well she proceeded to scold me that I could not use the coupon because I ordered a footlong sandwich, it would mess up her inventory, and that I should have told the employee who made the sandwich that I had a coupon. I simply looked at her and replied back, "How was I supposed to know this?" So then she told me she would ring it up this one time. You never do this to a customer.
