Burger King — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

This review is to share what an amazing time my daughter (the birthday girl) and all of our guests had at her birthday party at Burger King on Florida Blvd. (right in front of the Amazon distribution center). The management and staff were AMAZING! We happened upon this BK location while stopping for a potty training stop one afternoon and my mom and I were shocked over the cleanliness, brightness, kind employees and awesome (and clean) Playland! Upon talking to the manager and finding out they offered birthday parties in the Playland, I was sold!

The day of the party, I was running around with my head cut off and my husband got there before me. When I called him and told him we were in route with the rest of the decorations, he says ooook... but you may not need them. I was baffled to say the least, but when I walked in I was amazed! They don't "decorate" for everyone, but they loved Madison so much from our visits after our initial one, that they blessed her (and I) tremendously! The manager, Ms. CeCe was incredible and one of her staff members was there decorating with their own personal items and even made a special birthday pin for Madison. The impression they left on me and my family is truly a special one! Every kid got a happy meal and when we cut the cake, they had a cup of BK vanillia ice cream.

We unfortunately always hear the negative reviews or comments on social media, so I knew I HAD to make a POSITIVE one about this Burger King location, it's amazing management and incredible and thoughtful staff! These people went above and beyond and for that, I am eternally thankful and would HIGHLY recommend their restaurant, food...

Ok the young man that was a preparing my food, how long a pair of gloves while he was preparing my food, he touched some kind of card and plugged it into another steam table. Then he touched the handles of the steam table boxes to pull them out he did not use the utensils to get the hamburgers out. He got him out with his hand. Did he went over there and the department and picked up a 5 gallon bucket of pickles, open the pickle bucket, stuck his hand in the pickle bucket with the same gloves he had on while he was touching everything else, including my food. I brought it to the managers attention, and she wrote her eyes at me and said something to him, and he got mad and walked away and tore his gloves off and looked at me and said something I didn’t understand him, so I replied that his cross contamination I won’t somebody else to prepare my food with clean gloves on as the manager was preparing my food. I noticed that she kept touching the screen to change the orders again this is cross contamination, so the man went to the freezer and got hamburgers out of there with another set of gloves on, so he was touching the frozen hamburger patties and put them in another bag then he went to the freezer and got some more hamburger patties out and left the freezer door open And then he took his gloves off and waited on customers. So when she gave me my food, I told her your freezer door is open. She wrote her eyes at me again and said OK and went back in another direction. I will not ever go to this Burger King again I was treated...

The employees here are rude. Very poor customer service. This location wasn't always like this over a year ago. I door dash for this location also. On June 10th, I picked up a door dash. Front counter employee gave me the cup and said here make the customer dr.pepper and she going to put a sticker on it. I've been in restaurant management for 20 years. June 2013 when door dashing first came out I was personally trained on how to hand out orders properly and the employees are suppose to make the drinks and put a sticker over the lid. That wasn't my issue. I trust me. I came back with a mobile order through drive thru for my kids. It had a coke for the drink. The lady w the headset said we don't have no coke. What other kind of drink you want. She fixed Fanta and it had no ice in cup. I told her I don't want a drink w no ice it's 93 degrees outside. She said we don't have no ice and I can't replace your drink for nothing else bc I already ordered. I told her I just came in w door dash and fixed drink in the lobby with ice. She said well she can't go put ice in my cup out the lobby. At this point I just drove off bc she was very rude. She shouldn't be in customer service if you don't like to serve people w a smile or do something so simple as pass the cup to another employee and put ice in the cup and keep her line moving. I will never order door dash or online orders w them until they change up management or...
