Mary Lee’s Do-Nuts has long been a staple for many in search of a sweet breakfast treat or afternoon snack. However, my recent experience at this location was less than satisfactory, leading me to question its reputed charm.

To begin with, the doughnuts themselves did not live up to the hype. The variety, while extensive, did not translate to quality. There was also a noticeable lack of freshness, as if the doughnuts had been sitting out for too long.

Equally disappointing was the service. The staff seemed disinterested and unengaged, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Basic customer service courtesies, such as greeting customers warmly or offering assistance in selecting from the menu, were noticeably absent. They let me walk out with 6 individual bags instead of offering me a larger one-I was dropping bags everywhere🤦🏽‍♀️Additionally, the wait time was longer than expected, even though there were few customers in line.

In conclusion, my visit to Mary Lee's Doughnuts was underwhelming. The combination of subpar food and lackluster service means I won't be returning anytime soon. For those seeking quality doughnuts and a pleasant experience, I would recommend...

LISTEN - I wouldn’t recommend this place to my old colleagues whom I hate still today. lol Like this place has been a Staples in BR and I’m quick to praise them to my family in Lafayette (Meches would neva) buuut the customer service?!?! Straight 🗑️. Like why have a foreign employee at the front who’s super rude and not friendly. This man doesn’t even say good morning OR thank you!! Like Hooooow Ms Mary Lee?!?! Whenever i seem to go to this location the cashier has an attitude, i get a simple order of donut holes and not all the times they are warm. This morning i waited in line for a bit never seen them bring fresh donut holes out so i asked the cashier does she mind warming them .
