Service was great, People really freindly, quality of food great too. But the only thing was they were out of guacamole when we were there. And that they are only open certin days. That's why the 4 stars. (Update on Mi Sombrero. ). I just went back 3 weeks ago to give them a try again. Maybe they would get a better rating from me. Well they are not better. In fact they have gone down. The standards are not high nor the food quality, and service was below the levels that they need to be at. We went and sat down at the table , It was wobbly and so we moved to another table. The hostess told the waitress so we had to wait for her to ask our drinks preference. And we also ordered the chunky guacamole, which is wonderful. We got salsa and Guac quickly and then ordered. We waited around 30 minutes and she finally came back and asked us if we wanted more salsa and chips. We almost finished our Guacamole and the food was nowhere in site. They finally bring food out and forget half of it . And my plate looked off as I couldn't find my meat , only the 4 piece of shrimp. Then after digging around 8 finally found it it was a total of 5 piece's of chicken strips and steak strips. This isn't what Texas fajitas look like. My plate didn't even sizzle. It looked like everything was stewed and thrown on to the plate. As you can see in the picture. Then also we were into our meal 1 hr 20 mins and still no tortillas and our beans and rice. I called the waitress over tell her that I don't want this as it wasn't what I asked for and what was in the picture. They asked if I wanted something else but we said no. So I shared my husbands plate and ate the rest of our Guac. Also only 1 drink refills in 1 hr and 35 mins. Now they finally bring out the beans and rice and we were already done. I asked for a drink to go and waitress never returned. Now I understand if they were super busy , but they had at least 15 tables empty. And the mgr should of fixed my order or even deducted something from my order other than the fajitas as they took off because I didn't eat them. But I stilled paid over $50 for tacos , sand Guacamole and 2 drinks. I will not come back. I think in 2 yrs they have gone down in standards. So I would rather pay for a company that treats you well and fixes...
Read moreThis place is located in a strange place, surrounded and hidden by all the buildings around it. I saw no signs on the building or near the building identifying the place and the entrance is sort of hidden. I saw what looked like the obvious entrance but it was locked, apparently an emergency exit. In spite of all that, however, I loved this place. It is clean, has a large welcoming entry foyer, lots of tables packed into the place but still enough room to navigate. It is clean with a nice ambience; even the restrooms are clean and well stocked. The wait staff are friendly and fairly attentive. It was a full house when I was there, so I can give them a little leeway. At least the noise level was low enough that we could visit and hear each other while we waited for our food. And that's the final point, the reason for going to a restaurant: the food. I was pleased, impressed. I got what I ordered, it was perfectly hot, it tasted every bit as good as I hoped, and there was the perfect portion of everything. I ate it all and left satisfied without feeling stuffed or bloated. I even tried their sopapillas. They are very good. I'll try the flan at my next visit...and I will be back!! I was going to take some pictures but the food showed up and I forgot all...
Read moreFood is ok, but we went on Cinco de Mayo and they treated it like any other day. I understand that it is basically a made up American holiday that is an excuse to eat Mexican food and get toasted on margs, but they need to understand their demographic and play it up for business sake. I will most likely go to Vidalia next time I want Mexican food. They also charge for a refill of chips which is definitely a chump move. If I'm going to spend $35+ on your food the least you can do is give me free chips, which by the way is standard practice at every other Mexican restaurant I've...
