La Palmita — Restaurant in Bay City

This is my parents go to place especially for breakfast tacos. They are Mexican and in their 80s, so they definitely know a good taco : ) ... Now they have us all hooked. Out of all the places to get tacos in Bay City, this one is the best! Just a few things we love - they use seasonings, cut the Pappas into smaller pieces (not those big steamy chunks of potatoes) and put the right amount in a tortilla. Not too little or way too much. By the way, thank you to the owners and staff - you always treat my parents with respect and warmth. Even recognizing my dad's voice when he calls in an order. That means a lot to him and I appreciate that. Thank you. Just look at all of the cars in the drive through line and packed parking lot - that tells you everything! ... Try the bean and bacon taco. It's the best! Tasty refried beans & crispy crumbled bacon that's sits on top, not mixed in - so it stays...

The owner and workers are very rude when the business first started they were very courteous but as time passed I'm guessing business got too busy and they are trying to run it by family only and they are under staffed and the owner looks agitated and just don't feel welcomed I rather not eat at a establishment even if the food is good but the service is bad. food-wise it is good but don't expect to be treated well. I'm so tired of Bay City, businesses whether it's a franchise or self owned the people just are so rude they act as if you owe them something when they're forgetting that the customers are the ones that make them...
