Read moreI would love to give this place 5 stars because honestly, the food was good... once we finally got it 52 minutes after we ordered. Food shouldn't take that long in a quick service environment.
We had allergy requests which the CM ringing us up did not grab a Chef, but she did show us the allergy friendly menu. We had follow up questions on some of the ingredients and her response was that she didn't know. There was no offer to get additional information so we just didn't go with that option. We put in our order. She even called for a manager to help her put in the order on the computer.
It took about 25 minutes for us to get the order (but we assumed it was due to allergy request), just for the order to be completely wrong and we had to go back and wait the same amount of time all over again to get the correct meal. Nothing was offered or done to correct our inconvenience.
The items in the bakery case were also mislabeled or not labeled at all which isn't good for allergies.
As we were eating our meal, a girl kept walking up to tables asking if a to go food order in a bag was that table's order. The guy next to us even commented that they were crazy. It was obvious that this location was disorganized and not communicating properly.
We told two different cast members, including the manager, at Guest Services about the issues and they said they'd pass along the message to the food & beverage team but that there was nothing they could do because we weren't guests of the hotel and it's a different system.
We were extremely...
Read moreThis is a nice, decent size place. It had indoor and outdoor seating. Service wasn't always consistent. Some of the staff were nicer and more helpful than others. This place can be pretty busy depending on the time of day.
We ordered:
Bacon cheeseburger - thick and juicy
Pulled pork nachos - loved the wonton chips with the pulled pork. Mango salsa paired well that it was a crunchy, sweet, and salty bite. Perfectly balanced
Thai coconut meatballs - Tender and flavorful. I just wished it had a little more rice.
Aloha pork sandwich - I loved the crunch and sweetness you get from the coleslaw and flavor from the pulled pork
Poly chips - This is a tasty snack. I wish it came with a dip or something, but it's good to eat on its own as well.
Pineapple cupcake - hands down my favorite
Moana cupcake - tasty and moist. Coconut didn't care for too much
Guava danish and Guava Scone - Such a treat, I wish I had this sooner than the morning we were leaving. This gets sold out pretty fast. I love the taste of the guava jam, and the pastries taste so soft and fresh. The scone was not hard and dry like most coffee shops. It was...
