I had the chance to try a variety of items from Landscape of Flavors during my visit, including a few items from the Bakery (croissant, banana bread), as well as the curry chicken meal, the waffle egg bacon sausage breakfast meal, the blue cupcake, the Oreo crumble soft serve sundae, overnight oats, and a Greek salad with vinaigrette. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations.
Let’s start with the breakfast meal. The eggs were bland, and the waffles tasted like they came straight from a frozen package—reheated with no real flavor to speak of. The bacon and sausage didn’t seem any better—just your standard frozen variety that didn’t stand out at all. The maple syrup was definitely a letdown—high-fructose corn syrup-based and far from what you’d expect at a place with Disney’s name attached.
The overnight oats were another disappointment. I was surprised to find that they, too, contained high-fructose corn syrup, which definitely took away from the “healthy” vibe I was hoping for. As for the Greek salad, that was probably the best tasting thing I had. The fresh ingredients and vinaigrette dressing were the highlight of the meal, though it wasn’t enough to save the overall experience.
The coffee? Bland at best. Really nothing to write home about. Even the bakery items (croissant and banana bread) were lackluster; nothing particularly memorable about them. The desserts, like the blue cupcake and Oreo crumble soft serve, were fine but didn’t leave me feeling wowed.
Honestly, I’d describe the food as average at best, but given the prices, it just doesn’t justify the quality. I paid $20 for a meal that I felt was more like an $8 meal elsewhere. I don’t mind paying the premium at Disney, but the food really needs to match the price. I expect more from a Disney dining experience.
It’s not a horrible place to grab a quick bite, but don’t expect anything particularly...
Read moreMy daughter and I didn’t have the best of food here. We even got sick to our stomachs. I’m really disappointed with the quality of food we were served. The turkey burgers were good, but upset our stomachs and I was given cold, stale fries. Our second meal here we ordered the Italian sausage meal and chicken Parmesan pasta. My meal was cold and the sausage was burnt. They also gave me stale bread on the side. My daughter received a piece of tough boiled chicken breast on the side of her pasta. $40 I also purchased milk cartons for our hotel room. They were a week to expiring. They also made her sick and we couldn’t drink them. Some of the workers were really nice and helpful. They would great us within the first minute of entering the restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice, but I wish they knew how to turn on the lights. Half the time I walked in and the lights were so dim I couldn’t see anything. It would have been really nice to have good food so close to our hotel room. I am disabled and unable to drive anywhere. This is one of the reasons I splurged on Art of Animation. It’s just really...
Read moreThe Landscape of Flavors at the Art of Animation Resort was such a convenience for us while staying there!
My top favorite things are a caesar salad (Disney has the best in my opinion) and the chicken alfredo! I would recommend asking for a free marinara or alfredo cup to go with the breadstick. It can also be added to the pasta to make it extra saucy.
My husband's favorite dish he got was the garlic herb shrimp with mashed potatoes and green beans. The extra garlic sauce really added flavor to the sides as well!
The breakfast was great too. Best thing was definitely loaded totchos!!! Totchos are tater tots covered with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, shredded cheese, bacon, and green onions. 😋
If you have the chance, get the I'm Nemo cheesecake!! So cute and so good!
I will say, the food court used to be much better when we stayed years back. This was a time where you could customize any and everything you bought down to the noodle shape, but what we got this time was far better than our trip a...
