Wife and I came here for a quick bite before leaving Pop Century for the airport. We ordered the Impossible Burger & Grilled Chicken sandwich. Disney generally has been great about accommodating to my peanut/tree nut allergy, so I decided to let the line cook working the grill know about my allergy which was a big mistake. She was incredibly hostile. She was annoyed and said there's nothing she can do and that I'll have to talk to the head chef. I asked if I should just wait in line for the chef to come out and she said yes. She also rudely asked if we were sure we wanted an impossible burger and if we knew there was no meat in it and we said yes. She handed me a burger, but I inspected it closely and could tell it likely was just a regular bacon cheeseburger. I asked her if it was an impossible burger and she said no, and asked if someone gave me that, when she literally was the one that gave me it! Turns out she handed me the regular bacon burger of the customer in front of me, who ended up waiting a long time. I handed the burger back to her and she just handed it over to the customer in front of me even though I already touched it. Another employee lady came out and was angry at me for not going to the side of the line to take my custom order, acting like it's my fault when they were not clear what I needed to do. I then went to the side where a nice lady (I believe the manager) took my order on a paper noting my allergies and gave it to the head chef. They gave me a pager and I got my order within 10 mins directly from the head chef who was a very nice guy. The head chef and manager were both friendly and accommodating to my allergy, but the line cook ladies were incredibly rude and guilt tripped me about my allergy and messed up my order as well as the customer in front of me.
If you have a severe allergy, skip this place. If you have a mild food allergy and aren't super concerned with cross contamination, consider if you want to go through an ordeal like this is worth it. In hindsight I wish I didn't tell them about the allergy and just took my chances with the food since they don't seem to have a lot of peanuts/tree nuts on the menu, and I didn't expect it to be...

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offer great food options. They even offer an ice cream station!
On one evening we arrived to our hotel at around 11:30pm and we were starving. One of the food court stations was still open and they offered pizza and pastas. The Chicken Parmesan came with a garlic bread, green beans, and alfredo pasta. Everything was delicious. Bread was toasty, pasta wasn't chewy, and green beans were tasty. For quick service, it was great quality. My BF ordered the Cheesy Burger flatbread, the pizza version of a burger. His flatbread looked fresh and there was no complaint. We also ordered some burgers. They were HUGE!! I ordered the picnic burger which had the burger patty, hot dog franks, pickles, mustard, cheese, and sauerkraut (which I opted out). My BF ordered the western burger. We were both stuffed with just half the burger.
If you order just a regular beverage, you can refill your drink for up to 2 hours. After the 2 hour mark, the fountain drink machine will not pour any drink. You can always drink tea or water. They also serve coffee and hot chocolate. The rapid refills mug is worth it if you drink a lot of soda or coffee on hotel property or if you're staying for multiple dates. For us, the mug was not worth it since we already had drinks in our fridge.
I would definitely bring a coffee cup or reusable water bottle next time, this applies to any Disney Hotel. If you don't mind drinking tea or water, you can always refill your reusable bottle.
The food court is open from 6am to 12am. From 10pm to midnight, only 1 out of 4 food stations are open. On a regular basis there are 4 stations that offer salads, burgers, pizzas, and pastas. They also offer pastries, snacks, beer, wine, pre packaged salads and sandwiches. Try their tye...
Read moreThe food court at Pop Century has several options (four spots to get meals). They have a burger bar, pizza station, American style food, and pasta options. I have to say the meals are quite generic but tasty. I had the pizza, which was enormous with their loaded brownie for dessert. The pizza was okay, the sauce was a little sweet and the bread was a bit doughy. I also had a kids meal chicken tenders on another night and they were good, again quite generic but definitely good after a long day at the parks. In addition to the loaded brownie I also had a apple fritter and both options were excellent.
Some negatives about this place, it can get quite busy and hectic in the morning and evening times when people are leaving and coming back from the parks. I would suggest waking up early or dining a little later to save the frustration of long lines and heavy noise. One thing that irritates me about the food court is the line system when checking out. They have a person at the cash register and people can line up on both sides, but most often people line up on one side and you have an inconsiderate individual line up on the other. So the cashier normally takes care of one side then goes to the other, but not that an inconsiderate individual has snuck in, the cashier will help them and leave the folks in line that were standing forever. A solution is that the cashier should be cognizant of the people in line and alternate based off of the wait, and not blindly go from one side to the next.
Overall the food court is good for a quick bite, which is the whole point, but can benefit from having more efficient...
