First 2 visits: What a great place to eat and drink! We came here several times during our stay at Coronado Springs. The location is absolutely fabolous, the staff is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome. The food and drinks are so good and tasty. A must try is the sangria flight, the Martin Ray red wine, and several IPA beers. For your stomach you should definitely try the pan con tomate, the different kinds of nachos, the tacos, the burger and last but not least the churros! Wow!
Last visit: It was horrible. This was our last evening at Disney and we intended to make it a remarkable night. Because of our earlier visits, we chose for this restaurant. That was a disaster. Our server Sarah was unfriendly and our appetizers came with our entrees (while we ordered them seperately). We didn't want that because we wanted to enjoy our appetizer. My husband told the server who braught the food, but he didn't care and went back to the kitchen. We asked Sarah and she took the dishes and promised it would be made fresh after we finished the app. She didn't make excuses unfortunately. After 5 or 10 minutes (we didn't finish our app) they came back with the entrees, but they were cold. These entrees were the same as we got earlier.. not fresh as promised. Pff what a service. But that's not all. We wanted to sit down and relax (otherwise I would go to the Mercado for fastfood). But at the moment I ate the last bite of my taco Sarah was back and asked if we wanted a dessert. Not yet, said my husband. She answered with: I will bring the check. We were intended to order the churros and a glass of wine each. But it was enough for us. That was so rude. So we decided to finish the dinner and wanted to drink our beers in a quiet tempo. But server Sarah was already there to grab the check book, while we weren't ready. So my husband said we first finish our beers and then we will pay. We had to put our pincode for the creditcard. So my husband said he would come after finishing our beers. She said we could also give our pincode to her. Ehm are you nuts? So this was our last experience with Three Bridges. What a shame! Disney clearly has problems with finding good...
Read moreWe were two friends who'd not seen each other in a few years, and we wanted to have a nice (yet casual) meal in a relaxed setting, with some time to catch up on things while not feeling rushed to vacate the table. Three Bridges fit that bill in such a fantastic way, and then exceeded all expectations throughout. Basically is was total perfection for us on this particular evening. A nice breeze coming across the water helped to cool down the Florida heat. Our server (Zoe from NYC) added to the dining experience in the most positive of ways. We could not have asked for anyone better. She was open to any and all questions, and offered quality suggestions when asked. Timely, attentive, and accurate. We were made to feel like valued dining guests. Thanks, Zoe! The sangria flight is quite a visual 'presentation' as well as being tasty. Nicely done! Our main courses were the lamb and also the steak frites. We both finished every bite of our meals, and would readily order the same again. Two members of management dropped by our table to make sure all was going well, and they seemed very pleased at our enthusiastic raving. It truly was that enjoyable. Jerry (from Puerto Rico) graciously answered some questions about the restaurant theming, and we enjoyed learning that information. It makes total sense. The open-air dining area is designed to allow the servers/guests to easily move around without bumping into each other. Everything was immaculately clean as well. While glancing around the area, it appeared that most/all of the other guests were having an enjoyable dining experience too. Everything that was being brought out to neighboring tables was plated in an attractive way. It is VERY easy to recommend Three Bridges to others, and I know I'll be returning again soon. Go! Enjoy! Tell others! (Thanks,...
Read moreOur first night staying at Coronado Springs we decided to try Villa Del Lago. We started with warm manchego and oaxaca cheese dip which was fantastic! I wish the portion of cheese dip was bigger, but overall a delicious appetizer. I got the Greek salad which was also delicious, it was 50% lettuce and 50% olives so if you don't like olives I would recommend asking them to prepare without. Next we tried the braised pork tacos which were also very delicious! I do have a minor complaint. It seems like anytime I order tacos at ANY restaurant on Disney property the bottom is soggy and is already ripped apart. This makes the tacos hard to eat. I don't mind because they are delicious, but it does make them harder to consume and a messy meal option. Next we enjoyed the three bridges signature burger which was outstanding! The roasted garlic-lemon aïoli was soooo good and absolutely made the meal! Last but not least we enjoyed the Tres Leches cake as our final dish. It was delicious, a tad small for the price but delicious all the same. We also enjoyed a good old fashioned Florida thunderstorm and were lucky enough to see a rainbow over the lake. The atmosphere was beautiful and very enjoyable. My favorite thing about the atmosphere was the gorgeous metal lanterns hanging from the ceiling around the bar. Our waitress, Michelle was very nice and did an excellent job! All in all, definitely the best place to eat at Coronado Springs. Highly recommend eating here instead of El Mercado. The prices really don't differ very much and you're better off enjoying your higher quality meal here than the always packed and...
