Blue Sky Cafe — Restaurant in Bayfield

After reading other reviews of the Blue Sky Cafe, we decided to give it a try. Upon entering the cafe, we were warmly greeted and felt like "we were at home". Our waiter quickly greeted us and took our order. As we observed the atmosphere of the restaurant, it became apparent this was a place where locals hung out. The food was amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection! When the waiter presented us our bill we were surprised to realize how much food they provided compared to the price.......it is very reasonable. Come hungry or be prepared to share a plate or take some home with you. In our current post pandemic time, it is wonderful to see this eating establishment practicing good old fashioned customer service, great food, and a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. We have eaten here now 3 times. Once for their Sunday buffet, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food has always been good. I guess I should mention that Sunday’s they only have the buffet. The staff is super friendly, even calling us by name, but then I know the owners and most of the staff. They have all kinds of coffee’s, teas, etc. to drink, kind of like those coffee places u drive up to or the one in Durango that does not want u coming thru the door if...

So happy that we came to the Blue Sky Cafe for breakfast this morning. It was outstanding. I ordered the River Eggs with their homemade muffin, which was cranberry today, and everything was fantastic. The eggs were seasoned and had peppers cooked into them. The salsa it came with was delicious and we also got lattes that were delicious. I wish we took pictures of our meals but they looked so good that we forgot. 5 stars for this place!
