If I could give a 0 star, I would. Had the WORST experience today 7/27/25. I called to make an order and the woman that picked up was very incompetent. I ordered 2 traditional quesadillas. 1 came as a whole quesadilla and the other came as a 4 piece (less than half of the whole quesadilla).
I’ve ordered here many times before and that has never happened. I made sure to verify on the phone what my order was and the woman even CALLED ME BACK 5 minutes after to verify the order which was 2 full traditional quesadillas. My husband picked up the food and when we opened it at home, we saw that they didn’t give us a full quesadilla. They even charged us an extra dollar more only to give us 4 pieces instead of the full quesadilla…I called back and the woman apologized for her miscommunication.
I spoke to the manager and he told me there was nothing he could do to fix the situation. I said “so even though your employee didn’t fully explain to me what my order was going to be and made the mistake, there’s nothing you can do for your paying customer?” He said “no.” Then I said “and you understand that your employee is in the wrong and placed my order wrong?” He said “yes.” I’ll never order here again and it’s unfortunate because today is my husband and I’s anniversary and we were so excited to eat one of our favorite Mexican dishes. They have lost a loyal customer! I asked if they could provide a credit or give us the proper order that we wanted and he said no. Terrible customer service, do not...

Nestled in Bayonne, this hidden gem proved to be a sanctuary of flavor and relaxation. Allow me to share my delightful journey through the culinary delights of Aguila Dorada. As I settled into a cozy corner, I embarked on a gastronomic adventure with their mango margaritas and birria tacos. Read moreFirst time patronizing this location and let me tell you, the aguila in front is majestic.
We've been to their other location several times and have tried several items from tortas to quesadillas, different types of tacos to nachos and guac but our favorite that we always go back to are the tacos al pastor.
That's not to talk down about the other items, but rather highlight an item I would regret not getting. Spicy marinated pork tacos with pineapple on two corn tortillas x 3!
The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because they got cheap with the accoutrements. The red salsa is perfect on top and the roasted cactus is a nice cool bite to offer respite from the slow building heat and those were spot on. Three lime wedges, one for each taco!
Here are the two differences though. One, I only got four small slices of radish. Since I stick them in the tacos I could probably use like nine. Two, I'm not sure if this is a permanent change and not sure when they switched but we used to get two larger grilled spring onions (cebollitas?) which have a bulb that is larger than standard scallions (they give two scallions now). I always looked forward to those chargrilled onion bulbs.
As u can see in the pictures, still hits the spot, but I will miss...
