Katie's Korner — Restaurant in Bazetta Township

We adore Katie's Korner Ice Cream. They are our favorite. The ice cream is super creamy and they have a wide variety of flavors. Usually go to the handles by our house, but we stopped at this one bc we were in Cortland. The peach ice cream was a strange texture. The best way I can explain it is when you were a kid and tried to make ice cream yourself by freezing milk and sugar in a bag in the freezer. It was just very strange and icy. We've had the peach at the one close to us, and it was great. We brought this up to the girl at the counter and she first said to bring it up to let her look at it. We had already let our dogs eat about 90% of it, but still had a small chunk left. When we brought it up she said there wasn't anything they could do about it. We weren't asking for a refund, we just wanted it to be brought to their attention that something was wrong with it. If there's nothing you can do about it, why did you ask to see it in the first place? They were seriously rude, and we won't be back to this location. We threw away half...

We had a sample of the cake batter ice cream with no sprinkles. When we received our cones it had sprinkles throughout the ice cream which the sample did not. I was surprised and gave that expression when he handed us the ice cream because I do not like sprinkles and if I would of been aware I wouldn’t of ordered it however I didn’t want to be rude so We tried to eat the ice cream however it was overwhelming with sprinkles and tasted disgusting. We called less than 5 minutes later to provide feedback. The manager was very rude over the phone and actually hung up on me as I was talking. I called back and asked why did you hang up on me and he said oh I thought you were done talking. Really? Then he proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do about it.
