In response to the owner: Yes, I did actually leave a positive and raving review when I enjoyed the food. It was the very first thing I did. Original: I was craving BBQ so off to Charley's I went. Was the first customer of the day and was thrilled because if not the wait can be a little long. I ordered the one meat plate. With sliced brisket and three sliced brisket sandwiches. $38.00 I know folks may come for me but I believe in leaving honest reviews. Charley....what happened? The brisket was fork tender only but dry and bland to the taste, the sauce saved it. Their sauce is one of the very best I've had in the area. Reminds me of the KC style sauce from the Midwest, sweet and spicy. The baked beans could have come from a can. So unappealing. The potato salad reminded me of store bought brand because the potatoes were slightly rubbery. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fresh. I'll just say absolutely no one stuck their foot in either one. When I frist had Charley's it was lovely, I was excited and bragged on it often. No one could tell me any different but I haven't had it since May 2021 and I'm not sure what happened but it is not the same quality at all. All I can say is there is some new and stiff competition in the area right now. One can't afford to drop the ball at this point. Charley's sauce is still the bomb though. I may try them again but after today...not at all at the top of my list to do...

Honestly I am a bad critic on most food places to eat! As I am a good cook and it's hard for me to go other places that I enjoy. Today was the first time I accidentally came across Charlie's BBQ and actually they were close but she said I could still come through the drive through and order so I did! I'm SO grateful that she had did that. Bc it is now my most favorite go to place to eat! Even though it was my first time everything was on point perfect! I got the ribs sliced beef potato salad baked beans! OMG to Die for! And Whoever the cook is... Needs a huge raise!! TERRIBLE SERVICE ,I am a United States Service member and the Disrespect that I received from the woman at the Drive thru was The utmost disrespect. I and my Soldiers went to the drive thru to place and order and The woman at the window In the most disrespectful tone says “Look if you gonna make more than two orders you need to come inside or dont order at all” I proceed to tell her ma’am there isn’t a sign here posted that lets me know that so you dont have to be disrespectful.
