I really want to like this location because it is closer to me compared to Redlands, and I've gone four times, but it really is a downgrade compared to Redlands which makes me incredibly sad. First of all, the location is excellent -- huge patio area, and decent amount of sitting space that is indoors compared to Redlands, so that is a plus. Food just isn't the same, and the service is horrendous. I know the place is new, and I imagine training is still ongoing but this place experienced a huge delay in opening, so I would have thought the staff would be more attentive, not less. I've had custom orders done during the day (seriously just swapping french fries for breakfast potatoes) that creates excellent food and service -- there really is a difference if you haven't tried it, to having this request denied in the evening. Even the cashier told me it is most likely because the manager/supervisor is no longer in the restaurant for the day. One of my favorite things about Mr Tacos is the unlimited aqua drinks with a ton of flavors. This location had multiple flavors upon opening but on my last two visits they seem to have reduced it to three flavors only. Also, they stop creating the drink/stocking it as early as 7pm on a Saturday (when they close at 10pm) which I think is crazy. All but one was empty and I was told it would not be refilled. I'm hoping service will improve over time, but for now, I'll probably just hold out for...
Read moreI was excited to try this place but unfortunately had a horrible experience. I ordered a wet burrito with red sauce and they made the mistake of green sauce. When we got the waitress to come over I asked if they could fix the problem and she gave me an attitude and said "no, I clearly remember you order green sauce" after telling her that I never order green sauce she said "let me go see what the ticket says" but whether the ticket said green or red I'm a paying customer and the issue was becoming a huge problem when it didn't need to be, but anyways as she's walking away with the food in her hand she's shaking her head no... I walked over there and said if it's such a problem then just take the burrito off of the ticket her eyes started to water and she kept apologizing I'm sorry if I did or said anything wrong but we will fix the mistake, I kindly say no thank you but they replaced it anyways. My friends that were there with me shared there food with me and we all agreed that the food was flavorless and the carne asada was all fat and rubbery and the carnitas tased a day only (we were there at 11am) I will never recommend this place to anyone and tell them that the frozen burritos I have at home have more flavor hence I agree with Tim Smith who also left a review and said Del...
Read moreSo this place is kinda tough to navigate, getting in and out of the parking lot is tricky but doable. The place is nice, has a roadhouse ambiance about it, plenty of space. The staff is super friendly, the menu is reasonable and wide variety. On this day, the smoke was escaping the kitchen grilling area, and caused quite a blurr in the air, It kinda was inconvenient but not bothersome either. They sell these big beers known as Caguamas which is nice variety, they sell plenty of Mexicanini snacks, which is nice to have with a beer, and plenty of variety of agua frescas. There's an assortment of T.V.s throughout the dinning area. There was a table of loud mouth younger people discussing their personal dramas, and apparently it was important to them that the entire establishment should hear what they were saying, more alcohol equals louder voices,? I guess. The food was ok. I had carne asada tacos, and a carnitas taco, both had a good amount of meat cut in large chunks. My wife had a shrimp campechana which we sent back as the shrimp was not deveined or peeled clean, they kindly took it back, refunded the item without us asking. So all in all no complaints, I felt the staff does their best. I'll...
