Del Taco — Restaurant in Beaumont

This Del Taco location is under new ownership. But, the new owner and staff better get their act together or this location will go out of business due to lack of loyal customers. #1. You don't close the dining room at 8pm at a Del Taco: 10:30pm is common at other Del Tacos, 12am or even 1am would be optimal for business operations. Take a cue from In-N-Out Burger's dining room hours (closes at 1:30am at most locations). #2. Your staff are extremely slow, hanging out in the kitchen and playing with their phones. #3. If you are going to charge 25 cents for tap water, you can use the small plastic cups that were used previously, not the large paper cups. #4 Your drive-though is now backed up out to the street because you shortened the dining room hours--driving AWAY customers to the other local Del Taco. Customers cannot get into the parking lot because the drive-through is backed up out to the street. There is a reason the former owner SOLD this location--he told me. You had better learn from his lessons or close this business because you have already failed to understand real Del Taco customers: we are cheap and in a hurry and many of us are night owls--causing your drive-through to be overwhelmed. You don't know how to manage employees and you don't know how to run Del Taco...

This place is great! Extremely fast to have your order ready and accurately done...now if you can get the slow people going through the drive thru to order than it would be amazing but we all know how 2 people can't decide to order the same thing they always do takes to look over the menu and piss people off that's in a hurry...for God sakes get out walk in and order if your going to take a while... I overall the place is excellent and people are very nice. 5/4/2024 I got here at 7 minutes until 8pm and the door were already locked...not cool.... Also not only was my order wrong this time is was quite a bit wrong with my order being shorted and having to call to get a credit! My wife order was shorted a carbon chicken taco and all 4 tortillas were old and cracked had to get a fork to eat them.of my 4 the del tacos that I got 3 were good and one tasted like it was dropped on the floor and wrapped. pretty damn sad day for them on Cinco de Mayo weekend 2024...I hope my next order is better as for the first time in 40+ years coming to del taco at different locations I'm seriously disappointed....not even taco bell screws...

i came to del taco at about 4am or so and it wasn’t very busy. i originally felt really bad because i had to add something onto my order at the window but the guy, Zach, was very nice and was very friendly taking my order. i added like 6 tacos and he told me to pull forward bc there was someone behind me. i agreed and i pulled forward. when he gave me my food up front, i noticed that he had forgotten my drink but he quickly rushed back outside with it. then we realized we didn’t get our fry so we went through the drive thru. zach was very very sweet and gave us our fry without attitude or anything. when we pulled back around to exit, he came out the building and waved us down. we got a strawberry lemonade that honestly didn’t taste very good but i wasn’t about to complain about it because i had already taken enough of his time. but he waved us down and asked if it was watered down and i replied well yes. and he offered to replace it for us. he literally went above and beyond and is overall a beast at customer service. del taco please give zach a raise, i...
