I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service at Subway on Phelan and 23rd ST over the past several weeks. I have encountered consistent issues with both product availability and staff behavior, which have made my experiences increasingly frustrating.
For the last three weeks, the bread options during the day have been extremely limited, with only white or ghost pepper bread available. While I have still placed my order despite this inconvenience, the lack of variety is disappointing.
More concerning, however, is the behavior of the staff. I have observed employees being inattentive, rude, and unprofessional. Instead of providing good customer service, they are often dancing, playing loud music, and ignoring customers. On multiple occasions, I have experienced staff rolling their eyes or even attempting to start confrontations with customers, which is completely unacceptable.
I strongly urge management to address these issues immediately. Customer service and professionalism should be a priority, and I hope appropriate action will be taken to improve the overall experience at this location.

Haven't eaten at Subway in 6 months and is always reminded why everytime I give them another chance., I'm disappointed. I tried to revisit the location on 11/13/23....I made an on line order for buy on get one free subs. The BOGO coupon didn't take so tried to cancel the order. Glitches that kicked out my coupon and my order in general caused me to be charged for an order I can't cancel or pick up. The manager on duty was rude and hung up on both me and my wife. When I arrived to the store, the other person working mentioned his supervisor was indeed rude and can't handle his role in his job. This is the closest Subway to my home but the worst in customer service and quality of food I've EVER EXPERIENCED. At least the manager's coworker had some customer service skills....(BTW, his coworker should be manager just solely based on my experience).Just made the same order at the Pelan location, equal rude service but food was ready...
Read moreI placed an order for 2 subs in app for the BOGO because this was the closest participating location that was open. I had an hour and a half before starting a 10 hour shift with no lunch break and I didn't want to pay for delivery so I was going to have a 6 inch for breakfast and bring a footlong to work with me while saving the last 6 inch for tomorrow. The store was closed, lights off, while the hours showed they should be open. The app had the audacity to tell me my order was complete, and there is no contact number for customer service so I have been waiting to hear back (hopefully) from the contact us section in the app. So to recap, they took my money, told me my food was ready at a store that was not even open, and have made it impossible to get in touch with them to just get them to make it at another open location, so I either have to go without food today or spend way more money getting food delivered which I was intentionally trying...
