we visited on the 17th of feb. the resturant was very clean. the wait staff was excellent. the food we ordered was very very good and large portions. my son had kids breakfast. i had a monte cristo with a whole bowl creamy broccoli soup, i had to take part of my sandwich home i was so full. upon arriving my son noticed the dessert display and all the desserts looked so good, i told him if he ate well I'd let him pick a dessert from the case, we never order dessert so it was a special treat. once we were done i asked the waitress if i could purchase 2 desserts to go. my son picked german chocolate cake and i picked out a carrot cake for his dad. this is the reason for only 3 stars. the dessert at a whopping 5.00 each was DISGUSTING the frostings were dried out and both pieces tasted like freezer burned garlic/onion flavor. im sure every dessert in the case have a similar offensive taste. since both the desserts were different and on different shelves it tells me theyre likely all nasty. so if you eat here stay away from the freezer burned garlic/onion desserts. if youre going to charge 5.00 a piece you should probably make sure its edible, dont go upon looks. they all looked great. i wish id have let him eat it in the resturant, i definitely wouldnt have bought a second dessert nor would i have paid for the nastiness we were served. maybe when putting them out on display cover with plastic wrap to avoid absorption of stronger foods like garlic and onions. food service and cleanliness great!! desserts are pretty but...

My husband and I were at Sunview Restaurant on August 25, 2024. Each and every time we go to this place it is such a pleasure. Our Waitress her name is Katie. Now let me tell you about her, not to put the other Waitress down but this one goes above and beyond. She will tell you about the different things that could give a great taste to your meal, will tell you about the specials for the day. I didn't really want a big meal and she suggested something for me from different parts of the menu. Yes I was very pleased with how she put something together for me. When we arrived and she was there I don't care how long we have to wait to be seated in her area because that's how pleasant Katie is always. She remembered that I always get the chocolate milk. It's a pleasure to have that kind of service after meeting so many people. She's very good at what she does. I how that Sunvieŵ Restaurant knows that they have a valuable and experienced person on their team. Thank you Katie for being such a great person. ...

I met a friend here for lunch. It was about a halfway mark for each of us to meet at. 1st time here. It's a bit hard to find at first. Across from Comfort Suites and behind the BP Gas station. Family style restaurant. Comfortable. Easy parking but I didn't see a ramp for wheelchairs or walkers. I use a walker. No automatic door either, so my friend held the door open for me to go in and out with my walker. Bathroom has a large stall that my walker easily fit into. I had a Reuben sandwich with salad and fries. It was awesome. The fries were not your normal fries. They had great flavor and were super crunchy outside and tender inside. The Reuben was excellent.
