My wife and I visited the Biscuits location in Tigard, Oregon 3 months ago. We would normally eat at the Beaverton location 2-3 times per month; however we decided to try Tigard as we were in that area. To keep it short and simple:
Food was not as ordered. Food was cold. When we asked for the food to be corrrected, they took it in the back and said they would fix it by making a new one. The server brought the same plate out that had the onions picked out. It looked as if it were already served to someone and then brought to us. The server told us they were way to busy to make a new dish for us. While we were eating, one of the staff members who was cleaning walked by and set their cleaning tub full of dirty dishes on our table and walked away!
Food took over 30 minutes to come out to our table after it was ordered . Our server did not offer to make it right, make any adjustments to the check and the manager was not informed of our experience.
We notified Biscuits via Facebook TWICE where the Webpage administrator offered to forward our info to the manager/owner - still no reply.
When we left, the cashier asked if everything was OK - we said "not at all". She did not say anything else or speak to the manager.
It was one of the worst dining experiences we have had and as a result we no longer eat at Biscuits Cafe - any locations - and we have continued to share our experience with others.
Ed and Barbara - you have lost at least two loyal customers as a result of this lousy dining experience and terrible customer service.
I would not recommend...
Read moreHOST/SEATING: Went here for breakfast on Sunday. I haven't been to Biscuits for a while but I remember they typically have a wait time. They put us on a list and said it would be about 15 minutes.
We waited and watched two parties come in. They seated a new party of two just like mine after we had been waiting there for 10 minutes. When we said something about it they said oh sorry about that and they seated us right away. I noticed that there were five empty tables around us. WTF. My chair had about an inch of play that kept it wobbling. The table was residually sticky.
FOOD/SERVICE: The service was fine and the waiter was attentive and polite.
The food on the other hand was barely average to bad. We had bacon with our breakfast but we didn't eat it because it was probably the most flavorless bacon I've ever had. Personally, I think it's hard to screw up bacon.
The toast was burnt. We didn't even touch it.
Somewhere in my food I found a tiny plastic sliver. I did not request a refund. I just put it to the side and let them know. It seemed like a piece of weather stripping or something. I didn't find any other things in my food like hair or whatever, but finding a piece of non-food in my food was concerning.
Biscuits used to be good but this was a poor experience. I haven't had this bad of a restaurant experience for years.
I don't know if it's this Biscuits location. I've only been to the one on Baseline and Jenkins. However, I will never return here. This place has some...
Read moreThis place is normally a sure shot to a good breakfast and experience. Todayâs experience was a let down. I got the pico avocado toast with a fresh baked cinnamon roll. My fiancĂ©e got the meat lovers omelet. Despite the fact that the avocado toast is just one singular piece of whole wheat toast, the chefs overlooked it. My toast came out completely burnt, face down on the plate, as if positioned in hopes I wouldnât notice. When I set my toast to the side the waitress remarked âis it too burnt for you?â instead of immediately just noting she would get me a new piece. The waitress described the over easy eggs as âbasted.â I asked for the eggs to be over medium, they came out over easy. My fiancĂ©e and I usually each get a coffee and a side of milk. This waitress brought out two cups full of milk and then charged us $9 dollars for them. I asked her when we were checking out how best I could have worded âa side of milkâ in order to prevent getting charged $9 dollars next time and her response was that that is what she understood we wanted. The fresh baked cinnamon roll tasted like dry, store bought cinnamon bread with a cream cheese spread that is not sweet. Our waitress never came by to ask how the food was aside from asking if my toast was âtoo burnt.â Out total was just shy of 60 dollars which normally I would be okay paying but with the $9 charge for a misunderstood milk, poor service, wrong food, I am left feeling disappointed in the...
