I went in on a Friday at 11:30 thinking I would order a cozy latte and some soup. This was my first time trying it out, and was immediately in love with the whole vibe and concept. Two groups of two people each were ahead of me (so 4 people), but didn't seem too busy.
When it was my turn to order the single staff member working the front counter asked if I could wait so she could grab an online order, which of course was just fine. I asked to see a menu wanting to order lunch, and during this the single staff member also got a phone call before I could receive my menu. Needless to say, this one person working was overextended and overworked, I felt very bad and she did not have the time to take my order as there were drive through and phone calls coming through, and she was alone. She was visibly stressed and overworked. She ran back to get help from someone apparently making the drinks, who when the second woman came to the front to help was loudly upset at having to help at the front as she stated she had to make drinks, it was extremely poor customer service of this drink-maker being very rude/upset to the poor counter worker needing help. I ended up just getting something from the grab and go as it was clear there were not enough staff to handle the work and the staff seemed ill-equipped to have me order soup and a latte.
So basically I am writing this review in hopes the owners/management sees. Make sure your staff have the help they need! If it's the lunch hour on a Friday, there should be staff to handle the semi-rush, or maybe just focus on coffee drinks if there is not the capabilities to also take food orders? My husband had gone in once a week prior to try it out and got a brew coffee in the drive through in the morning on the way to work, and was disappointed it was cold. He said he would not be back.
Love the concept, the front counter worker seemed kind (but extremely overworked and frustrated from that), but the business just does not seem to be able to handle the influx of people and does not seem to know how to handle the industry. Plus the drink maker was rude to her front counter coworker, which was hard to see. I hope the owners can be more available so the business...

The atmosphere is spacious and comfortably decorated. There was plenty of seating and I liked that there was a sign with instructions when we walked in to define the ācoffee barā from the ābeer barā.
We sat in the coffee bar side and grabbed menus. I thought there was quite a selection of different food items. I chose the turkey bacon panini, my daughter had the chicken strip dinner, my husband the buffalo chicken wrap with fries, and my mom the chicken caesar wrap. We all had water to drink. When the food came the portions were HUGE!! We thought it was a very generous amount of food for the price. Everyone seemed to really like their meals. Two small things: I thought the ratio of bread was too large for the ingredients inside. This could have been balanced better. My husband would have liked more buffalo sauce on his wrap for more kick. Overall, we enjoyed our food and took plenty home.
I have to say that all the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful!! We had great service. When I got up to use the restroom once, I did notice several children behind the coffee bar arguing and doing something with a gallon of milkā¦. not sure what this was about, and they were much too young to be employees.
On the way out, my husband bought me an iced coffee (we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us) that I found perfectly delicious!! Yum!
Next time Iām in Becker Iād definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to first start out by saying, I love this place, but today was not my favorite. Ordered food to-go online. Waited 25 min for it to be made, then went inside to pick up. It was 2:30pm and the poor woman at the counter was swamped and by herself and a line of customers AND a drive thru window to tend to! (I overheard there must have been a concert today) The bartender was doing his thing and no other staff around. I wasn't sure where to stand to ask for my order, as I didn't want to wait in line. So when I could, I asked her where I should go to get my order, she took my info but then had to help more customers. In the end, I could have waited in line because it took til she got through most of her customers before she could go grab my food. She apologized, but it was a formality at best. Got my food and it wasn't correct; they missed the instructions to remove ingredients. Oh well. All in all, I waited 45-50 min total to get my order. Again, I have been here a few times and had a pretty good experience but this could be improved upon. It was busy, which is amazing and I am happy for them, being fairly new. Maybe put up a sign of where to go to pick up online orders and maybe make that process quicker even when you have a line of customers. Can the staff at the Brewtique help? I also saw a few confused customers who weren't sure how counter service works, so maybe some more signs at the tables for those people as well. The small sign at the front door probably...
