Carnales Taqueria Temperance — Restaurant in Bedford Township

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food was delicious and most of it is house made, including hot sauce, chips, drinks, and more. The service is fantastic, the lady behind the counter really seemed to be doing it all. The seating area is small about four four-top tables and three two-top tables. The interior is designed very farm chic. Lots of textures, and minimalistic. I had the quesadillas with chicken. My husband and I shared a side of chips and queso, and a side of beans and rice. I opted for their fruit punch as a drink. My husband got the shrimp tacos. We spent about $35.00 on everything. The food came out hot and fresh in about five minutes after ordering. Honestly this place was great. They have a kids menu, dessert options, and drink options. The lady that served us and worked the counter was incredibly friendly...

Okay..so first thing. This isn't a wait staff restraunt. You need to order at the counter 🙂. Felt the need to say this as when we were eating a couple came in ,sat down and waited. I could tell they were getting irritated so I told them they needed to go up to the counter. Now onto the food! Absolutely amazing and delicious!! The food is extremely flavorful!! We tend to eat a lot Mexican style foods and this place has hit one of our top favorites! That says a lot! The portions are generous like most and the cost is great too. Stopped here for the first time today and was not disappointed. The tacos were absolutely fantastic. We got the Al pastor, quesabirria, shrimp tacos and suadero. Everything was fresh and flavorful but the Al pastor and quesabirria were next level. I will be dreaming of these tacos until our next order. The restaurant itself is cute and clean, with several tables to dine-in if desired. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and answering my questions about the menu. My takeout order was ready quickly and the whole experience from start to finish was great. We will definitely be stopping back soon to try the other items on the menu, I'm looking at you...
