If the integrity of a business is important to you then DO NOT support DaCapo Coffee. Mark & Dee Ellsworth continually manipulate, lie, and steal from their staff. They hire staff based upon false information. They steal cash tips from their staff. They withhold cash tips in order to get their staff to comply to their demands. When you give a staff member a cash tip they are forced to put it in a jar, then Mark will âsplitâ it amongst every single staff member of DC, and then the amount of hours you work determine the amount of tips you receive⌠Dee Ellsworth cooks the âsoup of the dayâ out of her own kitchen, then illegally sells it at DC. Their coffee brewers are rusted on the inside, and they REFUSE to replace them! If your coffee is ever bitter tasting⌠that is why. Mark and Dee set their staff up to fail. They are not willing to listen. They are not willing to change for the better for the sake of their business. They will do ANYTHING to save a penny. They will do ANYTHING to keep their dirty money, and illegal activities, out of the public eye. They attempt to silence whoever tries to bring their malicious behaviors to light. The âmanagement teamâ consists of Jacque Butch and Anna Kingâ two women who will do anything to save their own tails, rather than stand up for the staff that looks up to them. They DO NOT train employees!! They throw you onto the line, and refuse to give any sort of proper guidance. They tell an employee one thing, then Dee & Mark will tell them the exact opposite. Wonder why your beverage never tastes the same? There lies your answer! Dee and Mark are condescending, belittling, insulting, and downright disrespectful to their employees. You can take one look at Jacque and Annaâs faces and see how miserable they are at their place of employment.    Read moreI love the idea of a coffee shop in Temperance. In fact, just today, I didn't want to drive to Lambertville, so I stopped by DeCapo. I've eaten here 4 times since it has opened, each time hoping my experience would be better than the last. From a consumer aspect, the building and inside are nice. The menu is fairly decent, offering a variety of things from sandwiches to desserts, to coffees and specialty drinks.
Here's what I noticed wrong on my 4 visits here.
Service at the drive through is incredibly slow.
Nothing ever tastes the same. I can order the same thing, and get a different taste every time.
The younger female employees perform much better than the "older" staff. When i ask what's in a drink, or what flavors they have, they're clueless.
Prices seem a bit high. 4.29 for a small smoothie? One of many things that I can get cheaper somewhere else, with a consistent taste.

I ordered 2 cupcakes, keto cheese cake, 2 cookies got to the register and there was 1 dollar cupcakes I bought a 4 pack plus 1 single. She couldn't ring up my gift card not for the lack of trying. So I luckily I had cash. She said there gift cards don't work all the time. Don't sell them then.. She didn't know how to bag it. I bagged it myself. I was so worked up I didn't realize I was shorted at cupcake. Not the first time. I was short 2 cookies the last time I was in. But you don't get a receipt so there's no way to prove it. I don't complain, much, you can check my reviews but the last time I was shorted. I've only been there 3 times. Don't leave someone running the place that doesn't have experience to be left alone.
