We love the food here! The reason for the three stars stems from our recent visit. There has always been a lot of play in the consistency of how much of each item to include. One employee may load it up another may not. But, to be fair, food costs are a major source of concern for most restaurants. This being said, on our last visit, there was a new girl and you could tell she was not very confident at all. I ordered the chimichanga plate and when she started to fill the wrap before deep frying she got to the main ingredient, ground beef, and added maybe half an ounce to one ounce. I feel the employees should be trained to be conscious of food costs as well as making food that will satisfy the customer. The food is always good here, we would just like to see a little consistency in the employees. Also parking in the main lot is a nightmare to get in and out. Tip, park in the run over lot. Turn into Walgreens parking lot off of Lincoln Ave and there are several spaces on your immediate left. These are way easier to get...
Read moreEverything about El Rancho Del Burrito, or burrito barn as I like to call it is perfect. The food, PERFECT. The Service, PERFECT. The Atmosphere, PERFECT. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food and a great experience while you’re at it.
Edit: My previous review was made almost 2 years ago. Did that change anything? Absolutely not! All I really have to say to change my review is that if you can do anything to ignore Patty Pray’s review, please do so. It was full of crap and nothing she said was true. When they don’t have something, they tell you. They don’t just add extra rice to your meal without asking. Not to mention, the meal is made right in front of you. With her hate on no sauce in her food, I can personally assure you that they will add any of their amazing home made sauces if you just...
Read moreWe've supported this place since they first opened. Unfortunately, it's generally a disaster anymore. When we're at the counter trying to order, we'd appreciate having your attention for the 1-2 minutes it takes. Instead, the last several visits, the person starts making mobile/doordash/whatever they are orders in the middle of making our food, and this visit not only pulls that, but jumps to the next people in line before we've finished telling her what we'd like on our plates. Then after being pushed down to the register, we're overcharged, probably because there is extra mobile order food laying there next to ours, and nobody really knows how to refund the extra. I'd say we currently average $1500-$2000 a year there. Glad to spend it elsewhere...
