As someone who has ordered around $5,000 in food & smoothies from this location in the past 12-18 months, I will say with complete certainty, in my opinion this is the best restaurant there is in Bedford.
The consistency is unparalleled, I have ordered when I am the only one in the drive thru, I have ordered when there is 10 vehicles in the drive through, I have ordered when the drive thru is full and damn near all of the parking spots are taken as well and the food always comes out the same, always. It is very easy restaurant to recommend to anyone that you can go to at any time and have an excellent outcome in terms of speed of food output and quality of it. (How to run a successful restaurant 101)
Lets talk about the drive thru. With a drive thru, you begin to creep into the tiering of being viewed as a "fast food restaurant". This has to be the most efficient run drive thru I have seen apart from Chick-fila-A, but Pressed is damn close, even considering how tight of a space they have at this location. The two ordering station setup allows for such a smooth process. Also I'm unsure what witchcraft they perform when I order a smoothie and by the time I get to the window (10 seconds) they are already handing it to me.
Well after $5,000 spent on food and smoothies here, have they messed up any orders?
Yes. Yes one time they forgot a straw for my drink, after ordering 200+ of them... When brought up to them, they actually looked defeated.. As they seemingly care THAT much about the customer. Whether the the business is jam packed or you find a rare time that is a bit quieter, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and you never feel rushed or get an attitude from anyone, which is tough to do when they hear the ticket machine blasting out order after order.
The biggest obstacle Pressed Cafe will always face is space, they have such a limited amount of space at this location and as soon as the good weather is back consistently, this place is PACKED as they have outdoor seating as well. It is only a matter of time before the IHOP across the road dies out and hopefully pressed will buy it, demo it, make it a parking lot and build a skybridge over to the main building and continue to reign supreme.
Huge shoutout to whoever the owner(s) is / are, the management and all of the staff. You have really set the standard as to how a restaurant business should operate and I hold everyone else to that standard now and am usually disappointed as everyone fails on consistency alone, let alone everything else.

Read moreMy first time to any PRESSED CAFE. First of all, the brands effort to impress us def 5 stars. The place was packed, huge, adorned with a giant stone fireplace in the center, with a full bar on the opposite side of eatery, also has tables and stools to sit and enjoy a drink/meal. Apparently, it was thought-up by a couple from Massachusetts, that really were into the process/pressing of coffee beans, and grew from that location into a few. This location, Beford, NH is very big. The care that was put into the decor, the lighting, is great. The signs are in both English&Hebrew, as this is language of couple, I imagine. The staff are all quick to be friendly, and helpful. Upon ordering, you get a number to put on your table. The staff bring you the food. It did come fast. I ordered a smash "impossible cheese burger," and asked which of the sides the waiter preferred since it was my first time. They have a huge jug of free lemon-water, the cups right beside it. So...the waiter suggested the pasta salad w/balsamic vinaigrette. 🚫 Do not get this. So, the plates arrive, and they are huge plates (I thought were ceramic) but are made of some type of recycled material. I went hungry, on purpose. The food was put on the plate in a rush. My burger was a bit of a mess. I took a bite of the pasta first. It tasted very wheaty, dry and the only other ingredient was the balsamic. Very bland. And, very chewy. I could not force myself to eat the small $5 pile. Biting into the burger, texture was great, and the veggies let/tom fresh-but there was a spice on the burger that did not taste good. I later found-out it is a middle Eastern spice, Sumac , it tastes like cinnamon to me. And was a turn-off. I will say that the ciabatta bun was nice. Thank Goodness for the fries my daughter ordered, those she shared and we're really tasty. Also, she got a. Original chicken sandwich, which she was happy to gobble up. I am looking forward to visiting again and ordering something different for sure. $9.50 for that burger...
