I have to say this is a beautiful old establishment. the interior Decor is very pleasing. they do pack the people in so as long as you have reservations there's a spot for you. I did notice an outside eating area with a bar. This place is NOT handicap friendly. doors are narrow, bathrooms are small, there are no ramps, and plenty of steps. they claim a five-star food presentation but in my experience the quality of food and the quantity of food is not what it should be for the pricing they charge. at my last visit I was with a party of eight people some of us worked in management and supervisory positions in the Foodservice industry and /or have kids that works as master chefs restaurant managers even at local restaurants ranging from Philadelphia all the way up to Lehigh County and on Long Island New York. I would say they food is okay, my particular dish well in my experience I am convinced they substituted beef liver for the filet mignon that is required to properly make my dish. I'm a retired meat manager of 40 years who has relocated temporarily in the as well as an accomplished cook. I think I hit the nail right on the head on that one. some food was overcooked, and some was dry. we didn't enjoy the experience. We did bring our concerns to our waitress and then to their Hospitality coordinator but nothing was done about it. we did have a very large bill. We did Skip dessert and when left we went to another place for ice cream, desserts and coffee. I will say that our waitress was right on her game. she was well experienced, new to this establishment and she had all the right answers that would accommodate anybody's request definitely keep this one she's good) it was management that gave us No Satisfaction Just a very large bill . because of the rain I did not take too many pictures but I will be posting them in time. I'm sorry to say that once again on my second visit to this place it's definitely overpriced and not worth the cost. it needs work mainly...

We arrived at 6:10 pm with reservations for 6:15 on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Our table was not ready. Our friends were late and arrived at 6:30. The table was still not ready. We sat at the bar and asked several times if our table was ready and the response was "in a few minutes." Finally at 7:20 PM we were told our table was ready. As we followed the hostess, who was very rude, to our table she lost us in the dining room. We continued through the dining room to find the hostess and a waitress still preparing the table. My wife asked the hostess if she was the manager and she replied "yes, and do you have a problem" my wife responded, " Yes, I'm very disappointed the way this was handled." The Hostess/Manger walked away. About 10 minutes later the Manager came back to our table and offer a round of drinks on the house. Our food was very good, no compliants there. The restaurant was not crowded. We waited 10 minutes for the waitress to pick up the check. At that point I delivered the check to the hostess at the bar. The check was wrong and had to be fixed. The hostess/manager offered free drinks and forgot to take it off the check. The restaurant was without a doubt understaffed as the Manager was the Hostess, Bartender, & Food Server. We have been to your establisment many times and we have always been pleased. We chose your restaurant that night because our friends have never been there. We were very embarrassed since we raved about this restaurant. The entire ordeal took 3-1/2 hours at your establishment. We didn't understand why we had to wait for a particular table since there were a number of empty tables...

Dinner Service 11.21.15

Great service, with fourteen people dining, celebrating a Mom / Grand Mom's 80th. Entrees are served with salad, a square crispy roll and mixed veggies. The plating presentations reminded us of Mondrian compositions. Prices were reasonable; the filets ordered medium rare arrived at their requested temperature. At a distance, from the side, the filets resembled huge double burgers. After cooking the steaks measured about an inch and a half high by 5” diameter. Everyone enjoyed their seafood meals from Crab Cakes, Flounder Stuffed with Crabmeat thru Shrimp and Pasta. The bright white square and rectangle platters were accompanied when requested by large wine glasses nicely filled, followed by a small carafe. We brought a specially prepared cake which was sliced carefully. The extras were generously divided into very nice boxes for family members to take home. Tax tags and title the bill was just over 60 per person including tip. .

Thanks to the Pipersville Tavern / (Inn) for helping our family enjoy a Significant Birthday Celebration for a special...

This place has always given a great fairly priced meal. I go here maybe 1-2 times a year. This time however we got the pulled pork nachos which came out cold and looked/tasted very sad. Felt like they had been sitting out for a day. Next was the crab soup which tasted like it was directly from a can with some crab sprinkled on top. The entrees however were delicious and really made up for it. The filet with the bleu cheese is out of this world and a fan favorite every time we go. Even with the appetizers being so sub par, I’ve had many good experiences here in the past and will go again to try something else on the menu. Great beer selection as well.

Great place, busy on a Saturday night! Samantha was our server and she did a wonderful job! Dinner was reasonably priced. We had the beef tenderloin special, 5 petite filets on a garlic toast, with mashed potatoes and a veggie side, salad and bread included! 38.00. Also had the flounder, with a lemony sauce with a light egg batter. Also came with mashed potatoes and a veggie and a saddle and bread. 29.00 for this entrée! Both were delicious! Outdoor seating, a great bar and a nice dining room. This place has been around for a long time.

Everything at Piper’s Tavern was on point…food, service and atmosphere. My flounder with lump crabmeat stuffing was delicious!! Tender and tasty. The green salad fresh. The Snapper soup also delicious!! My Dirty Martini 🍸 was the only thing a little lacking, but that was probably because I like them especially dirty. 🤣 The service was superb, with the server remembering every detail. This tavern is an historical spot that dates back to Revolutionary days. You could feel the history of the place. I would highly recommend a visit to the Tavern.
