Went here last week with my husband and 3 children. We thought we were going to the location that was open until 12am. The waitress was so RUDE.
There is a way to let a family know you close at a certain time other than with your attitude and awful actions. You can use your words. A simple â Hey I just want to let you guys know we do close at 10â that would of been so much better than making faces, eye rolling, slamming our drinks down, refusing to sweeten my ice tea that I ordered as SWEET TEA. Telling me well itâs just a syrup we put in it but I can get you sugar packets. She only gave me an unsweetened tea, I should not of had to break open sugar packets maâam. We kept asking her to give us a minute to choose our food while we waited for our oldest son to come out of the bathroom and she literally would not give us anytime before coming right back and seeming super annoyed that we didnât know what we wanted. I said we needed a minute still. As soon as she brought our food out she brought out 1 box for 2 large pizzas for take home 1 being a buffalo chicken and the other one being a pepperoni. She also wanted me to pay right away, still not mentioning they close in a couple minutes, being an absolute jerk acting like we did something wrong for being customers there. I still tipped 20% even though she didnât deserve it. She rudely starts slamming the chairs on the tables to really let us know THEY ARE CLOSING. Not once at this point had anyone thought to just mention they were closing. We drove 45 minutes to try this place so I was pretty upset by the service. Again I have no issue at being told they we need to leave at a certain time, that is fine but to be treated so poorly to get a point across is unnecessary and uncomfortable for everyone. I had already been have the worst week and she made it so much worse that day. Spent $89 on a pretzel and 2 pizzas to be treated horribly. I Definitely will try the other Toss pizza and hope it lives up to the reviews because this one did not unfortunately. I may add the other employees seemed genuinely nice. The bartender seemed sweet when I told him I had no idea they were closing up or we wouldnât have came in obviously. I wouldnât recommend this place to larger Families towards the evening otherwise you may end up with the...
Read moreI haven't been to the other location so I'm pretty new to Toss. We came in and walked through to the cashier at the far end, completely missing the host stand. No one was there and no sign so we went back to the front after being told we have to wait to be seated. We were seated quickly on a Thursday evening. My kids ran to the side where there's ping pong, corn hole, and some other games. Even for pizza, my kids didn't want to come in. I can't remember the name of my pizza but I think there were feta crumbles on it. My sons got cheese pizzas and one sausage pizza. I also asked for the cauliflower crust. It was crunchy and at times way too crunchy. My pizza was a little too dry too. The kids pizzas looked and tasted great and staff was busy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maria was our waitress and we saw her maybe every 5 minutes filling our glasses and asking if we needed anything. She even checked in the back and would give us heads up on how much longer our pizzas would take. The gluten free crusts take a little longer to bake so keep that in mind. She was always making sure we were okay. Very kind and would love to be seated at her table again. The menu isn't really too unique. You'll find regular flavors and build your own. You can even order a beer for the staff in the back working hard which is another way of tipping them if you'd like. For the sports lovers, there's a few TVs on for you. There's also longer tables for groups as well as booths for smaller groups. Seating outside too.
A little bit of advice for the restaurant: the ping pong balls tend to roll under the wall or over. You might want a tall screen above and below so the balls stay in the yard. Kids were running into the parking lot to go...
