Their food is great cheap and affordable. We go there every other morning or a few times a week sometimes it's longer when we run out of money we love their breakfast tacos. The tortillas are made from scratch and you can tell most things are made fresh. Love their green salsa I don't think anyone here in beeville can make red salsa to save their lives. At least from what I've had at restaurants I prefer my mom's or my own but that's probably everybody. I have to say this is my second favorite Tex-Mex / Mexican restaurant in beeville I go to it the most for the tacos. Being from West Texas the Tex-Mex / Mexican food here is good and it's great and its own way it's different than what I'm used to and I can't say it's any better than what I'm used to. But I have come to love it I definitely say the seafood and fish and that stuff that is added to the food down here is what separates it from West Texas food it also makes it as good as it is and unique and just as special and I absolutely love it here. The people are very friendly you can even take out alcohol beverages their cheladas are absolutely wonderful. Best of all if you eat here it's super friendly the people are friendly the atmosphere is not bad big rooms big tables big service and my favorite thing is the drive-thru in the mornings for the tacos it is the best I have been to every taco place in beeville in the morning for breakfast tacos and chapala's is the best hands down best...
Read moreThe Cook has no Idea how to cook a Fajita Plate. It is not worth the Money $14.00. The Food was large Chunks needing a Knife, that was never issued even after I asked for one. I ordered a Chicken Fajita Plate. What I got was a mixture of big pieces of Dry meat, salty Sausage, and Chicken. It looked like it was all cooked separate. Not a Very Happy Camper. Why people say they enjoy this type of food only means they have never had a real gourmet Fajita Dinner from a real restaurant. You enter this Building and it looks like a Barn without the animals. The presentation of this restaurant is totally unprofessional. The floor is filthy. The tables are dirty even after they wipe the surfaceI. If you have heard of Fungshuay. This place has no balance. The tables are in Disarray. The only good thing I find is the MORNING BREAKFAST TAQUITOS ONLY. Nothing else. Alot of people need some Training in Etiquette, Style, Cooking and presentation. You ask for it you get the truth. Of what it is, that I see and experienced. Also you never send out Half the meal to the table. Rice, Beans, and Guacamole. Should be served at the same time as the meal not 15 minutes. Early very poor...
Read more1st time visit. We had the beef, mollejas, & sausage plate for 1. The plate was more than enough for the two of us. I ordered the michelada with Dos X, it was good, would rate it a two. The charro beans were plain and wouldn't qualify as authentic charros. The place was less than 3/4 empty yet the service was extremely slow, we were not greeted upon entering, took 2 minutes for waitress to bring menus and take our order, drinks came out 8 minutes later, food took 14 minutes to arrive, waitress forgot our side order of charro beans and we had to ask for silverware. The waitress did not return to our table to ask for refills or to check if everything was alright. I had to get her attention so she could bring a to-go box after eating our meal. With the exception of the service, $24.75 for two people was not a bad price. Currently undecided if a second visit...
