When We Met Indian Kitchen Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Beeville

First I’d like to say the atmosphere is nice and also a new work in progress. Waiter was polite. My issues are the food quality and PRICE! As a truck driver I’ve eaten Indian cuisine all across the country. This was the first butter chicken I’ve had that tasted like Cambells tomato soup with a couple very small pieces of chicken. Also understand the finished product was nothing like the images posted which after this experience I can assume are downloaded from another site. The “bowl of soup” also costs $19.43 and does NOT include rice. Rice is another $7.55 which brings the cost way too high for the quality you’re receiving. My mother-in-law asked specifically for a very mild rice and received a quit spicy entree of rice. I hope this helps this restaurant makes better quality because this area could use this restaurant and atmosphere. I’m very doubtful we will return until I hear better more authentic food is a higher priority and they control the high costs for their below average product....

I had the lamb curry. I have only ever had Chinese and Japanese Curry and Thai curry. This is the first time I've ever had Indian curry and I've had lamb very few times and never like this. It was absolutely amazing I wish I would have taken a picture it is not the most beautiful entree. But I have to say this Indian curry and I ordered an extra spicy was absolutely delicious unexplainably so. The garlic naan bread was great as well. I will definitely trying something else next time if that was that good I cannot wait to try...

Amazing and authentic! We’re from out of town and did not expect to find this jewel. We thought it was more of a bar so we stopped in and as soon as you walk in the wonderful spell of Indian spices was so amazing so we had to order something. I had the Channa Masala and my husband had the Butter Chicken, which was highly recommended. The service was really great and we’re looking forward to visiting again next month.
