Came out tonight to get slices with my husband and our two year old. We know that tables are getting waited on so we didn't just go sit down like we normally do when we come in for lunch. We asked after we placed our order if we could just sit outside and eat our slices. They told us it was closed out there and that we could just sit on the bar stools. They see that we have a two-year-old and clearly we can't sit there so I said well we can't sit there because our son is too small. We can't just sit outside or somewhere else to eat our slices? The young man and the woman just looked at us like we had five heads. So because they couldn't accommodate us we just left. I have to say I felt completely disrespected! What the heck was the big deal about just letting us sit somewhere with our son? We weren't going to take long to eat our slices I really can't believe they didn't just say go ahead sit at a table or yeah we're not waiting on anyone outside right now but if you guys just want to eat your slices and sit down go ahead. We have spent a ton of money at this place over the years, seriously a ton. After tonight I can promise that I will never give this place another dime. I've worked in restaurants so I always completely respected the fact that if we're going to eat our slices at a table we have to clean it up like we were never there. And I was also always shown to ACCOMADATE guests. I could understand if the request was unreasonable but come on. So disappointed in...
Read moreFood was great as always. When I came in the guy handling the pizza slices was very busy with a couple of guys ordering a lot of different pizza slices. I stood in front of the cash register for several minutes. While waiting to be served I noticed two young ladies employees in the bar chatting. There was nobody at the bar except for maybe one person. I turned my head towards them thinking they would see if I needed anything. They did not, I turn my head to the rear at the entrance several times. Finally a short young lady with short dark hair. Asked if I needed assistance. I said yes I was here for a pickup. She went straight back and looked my order up and collected it and brought it out to me. I thanked her and tipped her. 55.00 for a burrito bowl a macaroni bowl with chicken and a Chicken Wrap seems a little high. I understand costs have gone up over the last four and a half years. But if you're going to charge prices like that the service has to equal the money I'm paying as well. I don't know what those two bartenders we're discussing but apparently it was pretty important. Enough to not address a customer's needs coming in. It took that young lady just a two minutes to collect my order. Had one of those two girls did it they could got right back to their conversation without any issues. I'm not a complainer although it may seem that way in this review. But in the service industry that I used to be a business owner in. Poor customer service can hurt...
Read moreLots of designer pizza, always available by the slice, and somehow always very fresh. Each of these concoctions must have its devotees for the restaurant to be able to provide -- on demand -- a slice catering to whatever finicky mood you're in that day, with quick dispatch.
Personally, I love the salad pizza, a slice served cold with garden greens on top of a scrumptiously doughy triangular wedge. This is so far from pizza as I knew it growing up, that it is almost difficult to call it by this name. But even by any other name, it would taste as sweet.
It's also a pleasure to place your order and then grab a seat on your own, keeping the wait times to a minimum, while still ensuring the comfort of a restaurant experience.
Whoever happens to be on call that day, either at the register, running the food out, or taking your order behind the display shelves, it's axiomatic that you're going to be treated as though it is a pleasure to serve you. Which, in my case, it is, but then again, I'm auditioning for a National Car Rental...
