Bridge Street Cafe — Restaurant in Belding

Don't bother unless you're a local. Not to mention the food is nothing to brag over. Never have I been so annoyed with the service at a restaurant. There's a lot to be said about this place. But the disregard for customers shows at this place. One example: I needed a napkin, because none were provided (except maybe the first one that came with my fork). I had a runny nose. And even when I asked two separate times, and was verbally acknowledged, the waiter continued to leave me hanging. Or.. drippin. On top of that. The waiter who rang our bill, actually tossed my buddy's debit card and receipt across the counter. I don't know if it was like... him tryin' to be smooth, or what, but it was just rude in my opinion. He handed it politely to you, and you hand it politely back to him. period. Don't eat here unless you want to be stolen from! Everything was good until it wasn't anymore. I ate and got my check to find my total was $12.64. OK fine. I then give the waiter my card to go pay and he brings me back the merchant/customer copies and the total was $15.64! Now I'm no mathematician but explain to me where the extra $3 came from? I didn't authorize this and if it's not made right I will take proper action. Theft is completely unacceptable at any level or amount of money. I feel extremely vioalted! I recently stopped by Bridge Street Cafe for breakfast and ordered an omelette with homemade white toast. The omelette was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of fluffiness and flavor. The white toast was also delicious, with a crispy crust and a soft interior. I really enjoyed the combination of the two, and I would definitely order it again. The service at Bridge Street Cafe was also excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed.
