The Nook — Restaurant in Belding

I am person who likes to support local businesses rather than franchises and let's face it you can dine in these days for the same price or less than it costs for fast food. We love to try new places and this place came up on Google search for nearby restaurants. With no plans for Sunday morning we drove down to Belding and gave the Nook a try. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of hashbrowns and two eggs over easy and it was delicious. My son had the breakfast burrito it's huge!!! He only finished half pretty sure two people could fill up on one burrito and he said it was delicious as well. An added bonus they had orange marmalade jam one of my favorites which you don't see very often it's usually grape or strawberry . The coffee was also hot and delicious and not super strong I am not a fan of coffee you can seal coat asphalt with 🤣. We left full and very satisfied. The tables were nice and clean and the decor was neat as well a few signs with sayings that made me chuckle. The waitress who I assume is the owner was very polite and on top of things making sure our food was good and our drinks were full and if we needed anything else. I asked her their hours of operation and she said they are open 7a.m. to 3 p.m. everyday but Wednesday they are closed. This place has been consistently amazing since the first time I’ve tried it. If you’re new to this restaurant I definitely recommend the grizzly tots and the spudys burro. My boyfriend and I love trying out new restaurants, especially breakfast spots. They have the best breakfast bowl and breakfast burrito we’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Great food and very generous portions all for more than fair prices. Fun menu and the whole staff was super friendly.
