My first experience here, they had no bacon, waited for bacon after already starting my order not knowing I'd have to wait, were extremely rude about it. (This was not at all that big of a deal) Next visit, did online and they lost my order, gave me 2 free sandwiches for a later date. Our visit today. All I can say is there is no communication between the staff. They were complaining about a coworker that kept going outside (bigger lady). She ended up saying again how she just needed to step outside as we left. Everytime I go in they are so frantic and annoyed, no smiles, or hey how are you? Younger girl making sandwich made my kids sandwich wrong, was so clearly annoyed by me when I told her it was wrong, went to scrape off the toppings which I was so amazed by. The other girl working the grill had such a terrrible direct attitude towards me when saying they've been busy today. They are always busy. Ran out of white bread and I don't like the other breads, so I went hungry and left hungry. Currently watching my family eat their sandwich as I just write this. Everytime we have gone they are so busy and complaining about getting an employee to come in and help. The counters looked like they hadn't been wiped off in hours. Then after all that they lost my husbands sandwich.. again. The only thing I can say about me even thinking about going back is I love the food, and the one guy working didn't catch his name (he was African American) he was friendly, accommodating. He was holding that whole team together by himself. Didn't let stress get to him. He deserves a raise. The three girls working need a class on customer service. Guess I’ll have to drive to the further jersey mikes from now on to enjoy a...
Read moreManagement, please take note. Train your staff that they can enforce your "rules" and still provide good customer service. Visited this location from out of state. We love Jersey Mike's, but severely disappointed by the girl that demands everyone picking up their orders, READ THE SIGN! Not all locations operate in the same capacity. If you don't want customers finding their own orders, have an employee greet them properly and keep the bags on the rack. Another customer picking up their order walked out visibly upset, saying "sheesh" apparently over the same treatment. Maybe ask for the customer's name, even while approaching the counter, and then point out the sign for future reference. The sign didn't exactly "jump out," and anyway, customers are constantly inundated with signs everywhere. We're tired, we're on autopilot, and we order ahead expecting convenience. Entirety rude to stand there and chastise customers; requiring them to read the sign & wait for them to give their name before you'll say or do anything else. I assumed they were just confirming the name on the order, which I was prepared to do - wasn't expecting to be snapped at and also forced to read that sign. Won't be returning to this...
Read moreOrdering online is pointless. We ordered and pick up on the app said 6:03. Knowing this location is always busy, we got there about 6:10. Not ready. Gave them my name. They said "They'll be ready... eventually." Working front end food industry, I try to be very kind and patient. Sat down and waited. Someones name was shouted for the order. So now I assume I just have to wait for my name to be called. At about 6:25, I notice it is emptying out. Now me and another are sitting waiting. The online orders piled onto their shelf, but I assume they aren't mine. My name was not called like the other guy. But now I've seen customers come in, order at the counter, and leave sandwich in hand. I go ask them about my order. And they had me the bag they put together first. 6:35. I was livid. What the hell!? On my way out the door, I told the other customer I recognized waiting to go check and see if her order was ready. Lo and behold, both of us are now leaving with our soggy orders.
It was always new employees every time I went. And after that situation, I'm done. Im just going to T&C, make my own damned sandwich, saving 30...
