This is a dine in, RARE BEEF PHO review only...
Firstly atmosphere... which I gave 5 stars. I score atmosphere of a place by the cleanliness, the washrooms, comfort of the sears, ease of access and parking, and decor. This place scores exceptionally high on all those points... especially the comfort of the seats.
Service... as long as I'm greeted quickly, server follows my directions, and brings food out quickly... you get 5 stars and I rate service here 5 stars.
I should also mention I eat a lot of pho all over north America... just saying...
Food... ok... the only part I'd ask they improve on is the amount of rare beef I received. Good parts of this pho include...
Overall....I can confirm the previous positive reviews for pho here ARE accurate, and I question the negative reviews as my...
Read moreWe drove all the way from Billings just to eat here and it was worth every mile to get there...lol! The menu is limited compared to what I'm used to but their focus is on Phở and they have chicken and beef varieties as one would expect. The broth is rich with fat and collagen from the bones and is nicely spiced with cinnamon, star anise, etc. We found it a bit under-salted but it's better that way so that people can season to taste. Other things on the menu include salads and oddly enough, some Japanese items such as curry, udon and ramen. They have a nice selection of fresh spring rolls but we opted for the fried egg rolls. They are obviously hand made as evidenced by their slightly varied sizes and the filling was great. Ground pork with all of the traditional seasonings and ingredients served with a sweet chili sauce. Additionally on the menu are the fairly ubiquitous grilled beef, chicken or pork served in either the broken rice or vermicelli iterations and served with a very tasty nước mắm. I ordered the special of the day which was a marinated and grilled pork chop served with broken rice and a fried egg along with fresh tomato and cucumber and the nước mắm. I don't like to be critical but the pork chop was pretty small and since it had a bone in it, I would have appreciated 2 of them or at least a larger one. It was very tasty though and over all it was absolutely worth the drive. We also hit the Museum of the Rockies and made a great day trip out of it along with the memories. I'm already thinking about our next...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for a few months and my first two experiences were great. Ever since then my experiences are declining fast and today will probably be my last time with this restaurant. The server, male with long blonde hair and black beanie, is not very welcoming and always seems like in a bad mood. We walked in and we were never acknowledged. We sat down and took him some time to get up from the table he was sitting at to greet us. Slamming menus and water down. Gave us 30 seconds to look at the menu never asked if we wanted anything to drink besides water. And he just sat at the table behind us most of the time. Food was finally delivered, which was very good. He’s sitting back down and I hear him open a can, thinking it’s soda. As we finished our food, more customers come in and he takes orders over the phone, acting the exact same way. Rude and acting like we are bothering him because he has to work. As we go up to the counter to pay I look over where he was sitting and see the can he opened and it definitely was not a soda. It was A White Claw, an alcoholic beverage. He had poured some of it into a clear plastic cup with a straw. THIS IS NOT OKAY! I am so disappointed in the service That I received and knowing he is drinking on the job is disturbing. I don’t think I can support this small business anymore, which is unfortunate because the food is...
