We are new to the BV area and so we want to support our community but also find great places to have a really good dining experience. I’d give this 4.5 Stars so let’s get in to it. 1. Ambiance - 5 Stars. Love the view, the rustic feel, the open space and lounging areas while you wait. 2. Food Quality - 5 Stars. I actually had a mix up with my order as I thought I was getting the beef tip salad but I must not have been clear enough as there is a beef tips entree. I’m glad there was a misunderstanding- it was delicious. The chicken tenders were really really good. Normally I wouldn’t order that but following the server’s recommendations we gave it a go. Nice recommendation. Super tender 3. Guest Service - 4 Stars. Hosting team were great and the server was very friendly. This was my only thought on improvement was the lack of knowledge from the server on some of the dishes as well as not being able to apply our rewards (punch card). Wasn’t earth shattering just didn’t maintain the same level we had been experiencing. 4. Cleanliness - 5 Stars. I admit I didn’t make my way to the restroom, which is normally my specialty, so next time we’ll evaluate that. Overall - definitely will be back.

After years of neglect this wonderful gem has new life. The Bella Vista Country Club has reclaimed some of its former glory with an extensive remodel including the new BV Bar & Grill. While most of the remodel stayed true to the E. Fay Jones design, BV is mostly 21st century sports bar. It’s very open and features a nice deck for outside dining and a large bar with plenty of screens. The menu is limited to burgers, sandwiches and salads with only a handful of full entrées mostly derived from the other menu elements. We’ve tried most of the offerings with the burgers being the standout so far. Service has mostly been awkward from an undertrained staff probably on their first restaurant gig. This should improve over time and all have tried hard and been friendly. With beautiful views and discounts for POA members you’ll see mostly locals but with some work they’ll draw others in. (They are open to the public). In time they could compete with some of the excellent restaurants in Bentonville. Sure it will take work to match the food quality but none of them have this architecture and scenery to offer.

⭐️⭐️ Two Stars – Disappointed Again I’ve been to Bella Vista twice now on golf trips over the past two years. The golf courses? Fantastic. The BV Bar and Grille? Unfortunately, consistently underwhelming. The food is fine—nothing spectacular—but it’s priced like you’re dining at a high-end steakhouse. I get that it’s part of a country club, so there’s a certain vibe and culture, but as a tourist, it feels like you’re invisible unless you’re a regular. Service is the real issue. It’s slow—painfully slow. Getting something as basic as water or ketchup turns into a waiting game. The staff seems more interested in chatting with each other or with members than actually attending to paying customers. Two trips, same disappointing experience. The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the view is nice and the location is convenient after a round. But if you’re expecting decent service for premium prices, lower your expectations—way down.

The BV Bar and Grill was positively horrible tonight! When we have eaten there in the past, the food was delicious and the service was acceptable. We went back for the Prime Rib special again tonight because we were so impressed previously. We ordered 1 medium rare, 1 medium, and 1 medium well. (The fourth meal was country fried chicken-which was very good.) The medium rare came out completely rare. There was a tiny sear on the very outside with a completely red middle and cool center. It was also somehow disgustingly slimy. The medium and the medium well were both cooked so long they were completely dry and actually crumbled. They were all nearly impossible to chew and completely bland and flavorless. Even the mashed potatoes we had previously raved about lacked even a hint of salt or flavor tonight. After just a couple bites, we spoke to the manager and explained the issues. His attitude was quite condescending from the beginning. He informed us that this was “their version of medium rare” but he would be happy to get it more done if we liked. He said they are almost out of prime rib (an hour after they began serving it with a nearly empty dining room) but that he would replace the other two with something else. Before we could make any kind of reply, he left. The waitress then came back with three menus and gave to us. Then she took the two fully cooked prime rib and asked if we wanted a box for the rare one. I said no, we don't want that one either. It's inedible. She said they would not be doing anything with that one because there was nothing wrong with it. I told her never-mind then. We will not be ordering new meals for anyone. Please bring the check for the chicken and the rare meal. Some time later, she came back with the check (still nearly $50 with all but one belly still empty) She did not come back for our card, so we took it to the front to pay. The manager was there and I told him that we were extremely disappointed and that it was delicious last time, but they really messed it up this time and it was ridiculous that I was paying this much for just one person to eat. He did finally at this point say he was sorry for the mix up. I pointed out that it was not a mix up. It was a mistake on their part that he was refusing to correct. He told us to quit making a big scene and that we could call his manager. We were not making a big scene. Voices were never raised. Other diners were probably not even aware of the issue until we got up to leave without eating. We will definitely take him up on his offer to go above him though. I understand 100% that mistakes happen and I am generally willing to give second chances. However, it is not a wise business choice to refuse to admit to or to fully correct your mistakes. We will...

Let me begin by saying i am a regular to the establishment and i have seen the staff at their best and at their worst. Generally speaking , even at their worst they are still quite good. This review is about this one particular visit and this one individual. The Waitress that wears black bandana, has long black hair and several lip rings is HORRIBLE. I watched the table next to me get turned around twice in the time I was able to get served. I watched a family come in roughly 10 minutes after us get their drinks and alcohol before we even got to order drinks. It took more than 20 minutes to find out the bar was unable to make one of the drinks due to it being discontinued which wasnt a big deal, we just chose a different drink, but the server literally said she was doing us a favor by not putting it in our check! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?!? It literally took 30 minutes to get the check or even see our server again after finishing our food. She blamed it on some other tables in a nother section "holding her hostage" but i watched her service 3 tables RIGHT NEXT TO ME while i sat there with my wallet out ready to pay. Not so much as a check up when she was 3ft from me and eye contact was made. To sum it up she took what is generally a 45 minute dinner from sit to leave and turned it into nearly 2 hours. While I will without a doubt continue to come here but I will not under any circumstances sit in this person's...

It could have been sooo much better. The potential is there. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and my wife the London broil. She asked for double mash in place of the vegetable medly, it still comes out with vegetables. My grits could have been wonderful if the would have started by adding salt to the cooking process. Instead I decide to just add some beer cheese sauce to it that we had left over from the appetizer, so it's etable, so waitress comes back this time and says the chef said no substituting mass for veggies, we have to pay extra for more mash. At this point I'm offended with them and hand the waitress my grits and shrimp and tell her, u can tell the chef, he can keep his grits and I will pay for it once it is seasoned.... Neither the chef or manager comes to talk to me. The waitress never brings refills as requested, so I have to go to the bar to get my own drinks. At this point the manager brings my wife some mash, but still don't talk or apologize to me, instead, I sit there watching my wife eat till the check comes, which btw still has my meal as a charge on there. I tell waitress, I'm not paying for food I didn't eat. She has the manager take it off, he STILL don't come talk to me. After we pay I get to talk to manager, and defends his position, and tells me to have a great evening... Needless to say, I was very disappointed, I was really hoping it would be better than the...
