Absolutely fabulous day this Easter at Tanyard Creek. The waterfall was stunning. There was a gentle breeze temperature around 72 near the water. We saw colorful flowers of yellow, purple and white blooming everywhere. There were hawks, rabbits, fish and even an eagle! The rock formations were mystical. No wonder there are entriguing stories of this area. It is truly magical.

It was way more beautiful in person! We were just on a random road trip and decided to stop by here. I'm glad we did. It was a very interesting park. We did get strong whiffs of cucumber twice, though. Apparently, that's what copperheads smell like? I'd keep a look out for those.

Nice little casual hike, good for families. Plenty of cool nature and nice bluffs/creek. Fun thing, this is supposedly a spot where a mythical monster called Siren Head was seen (a bit like a internet age Bigfoot).
