Bagels Plus — Restaurant in Belleville

Went here because my normal place was closed. This place is pricey and has a very limited selection of what little they do have. I wanted to buy 1.5 dozen bagels and the lady working the counter wouldn't sell it to me because they wouldn't have enough for the rest of the day. She went on to say that I would have to let them know before hand for an order like that (like I knew I was going there on a Sunday morning (and what kind of bagel store doesn't have enough bagels for a Sunday morning)). They have a sign advertising blueberry and corn muffins and when I asked for blueberry muffins, she said they don't have any (this is the second thing I asked to buy which she said "no" to). I also asked for a pumpernickel bagel which they also don't have, so now 3 things I wanted to buy that I was was told "no" to (lady acted like they are the only bagel game in town and I could either take it or leave it). Idk why this place is called "Bagels Plus"... it should be called "Maybe we have it and maybe we don't, and even if we do, we still might not sell it to you". Place gets 2 stars because the food was somewhat decent, not great, but not horrible. Won't be going back here again... definitely much better...

I give one star for keeping prices low..

This place is unclean. Extremely Slow. Bagels have been like rocks any time I've been there.

We went there this morning and it took 20 minutes for the 2 women to cut and butter 2 un-toasted (we ordered them un-toasted because we know it's already a slow place) bagels and charge us for it. While she was cutting the bagels and putting the butter on it she stopped multiple times to talk to the lady at the grill slowing her down even more. Bagels were not rocks this time but not soft either.

Also, the rag that they wipe the counters down with--Yeah, that rag touched the bagels.

Seriously, people are in a rush in the mornings and need to get going. This place has so much potential to make tons of money but also be a staple in busy...

So I reviewed the other location they had and someone Replied that that location was no longer open I've been to both locations and I know you have 2 stores or had 2 stores I don't have you confused with some other place I'm very aware of that with that being said you charged me the same price on a Breakfast sandwich with just egg and cheese as you would if I had meat on it also did the same thing with the pancakes and egg I ordered which doesn't make sense 🤔 as far as customer service goes its great very nice ladies I just felt like I was over...
