I will start off by saying that the wing sauce flavors were absolutely great. But the bulk of it was less than desirable. They had a lot of potential and would have been some of the best wings in St. Claire County if it was not for a bit too many of the wings being freezer burnt. On top of this one of the worst things you can do is not replace your fry oil. As an experienced cook, you could tell the fry oil had not been replaced in quite a while. On top of this they had been cooking fish in the same oil as the wings were being cooked in which is about the worst thing you could do in a fry bath.
The outside of the building was very run down with broken signage and random items all around the building. Needing a very good amount of upkeep as well as TLC. Like I always say if you cannot have a good looking sign out then do not have anything at all.
Like I said before, they had a recipe for some really good wings. The sauces were amazing. But with everything else trying so hard to go against them it is hard to find it appealing throughout.
None of their google is updated and their pricing on google is not correct. It is 13.78 for 12 wings. Which is not necessarily unreasonable, but with that you only get a tiny container of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
They have a lot to improve upon. In my opinion and my opinion only, if they do not step up their game and make some major essential changes they will not make it in the...
Read moreThis is my favorite wing joint in the area and I've been going here regularly for almost two years. The first few times I went, the owners personally introduced themselves and were very friendly guys. The place is owned by a couple local retired officers and is a hang out for other civil servants and emergency personnel. They have live bands or karaoke events pretty regularly, and you'll start to recognize people and faces in the community. Fun place to spend a few hours drinking beer and chatting.
The wings are pretty stellar and they have over a dozen flavors. Some of the appetizers are lack luster and generic fried frozen stuff.
If they are packed, you may end up waiting a long time for your order, so I tend to avoid the place when it's busy.
Staff is all super friendly and...
Read moreTook my teenaged daughter here on a Saturday evening (8ish). Very very surprised by this little place tucked inside Belleville. Friendly laid back atmosphere. There was karaoke, some video games and good food. My daughter said that the wings were good. They were certainly good sized.
The cheeseburger, however, was one of the best I’ve eaten outside my house in the past 5-6 years. I make some pretty fierce cheeseburgers on the grill at home, so I’m never blown away by restaurant burger as they usually mess up one aspect of it. Geo’s nailed the cheeseburger.
Oh…and bill for a dozen wings, 1 burger, fries, hush puppies and two drinks was $40!
We’ll be...
