On 04/12/22 I went through the drive thru around 9p and ordered a grilled club. Instead of fries I ordered a side salad w/o tomatoes 🍅. I was informed by their employee LIV that the "prep table closes at 830p, so they are unable to make a side salad without tomatoes" LIV also stated " they are just cherry tomatoes so you can just pick them off!" ( so I am diabetic, and control my diabetes through proper diet. So a normal person who is NOT diabetic would see this situation and possibly think what's the big deal! Also I'm allergic to tomatoes!) So I drove to the drive thru window where I voiced my complaint to VICTORIA the manager on duty, who told me the exact same thing ( all while LIV was standing in the background behind her with a big smirk on her face ) I even explained to this manager the situation, my diabetes, and allergies. She didn't care reciting the same thing, our prep table closes at 830p!
Here is what I don't understand is why 1.) There aren't a few salads made with out tomatoes or cheese that can be set aside for the night after their prep table closes? 2.) Why did it seem like no one cares if I have an allergy or trying to live a healthier lifestyle?
IN MY OPINION THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER WAY THIS COULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED, EITHER BY THE RESTAURANT, MANAGEMENT, OR THEIR COMPLAINT HOTLINE! THUS FAR I'VE GOTTEN NO WHERE BEFORE PUTTING THIS COMMENT ON HERE, SO I GUESS THE DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS ALLERGIES, DIABETES, OR ANY OTHER CONDITION THAT PERTAINS TO...
Read moreI honestly never thought I'd be leaving any Chick-fil-A location a 1 star rating, but my past couple experiences have left me extremely frustrated with how customer complaints and vouchers are handled. I ordered a salad with grilled nuggets. They gave me fried as well as forgetting my dressing. This is already a great cause for concern as many people cannot tolerate gluten, but then when I called to inform them of the mistake, they offered me a voucher for a free salad to make up for it. They wrote down my full name and number, and let me know the next time I came in all that I'd need to do is give them that information. Fast forward a few days, and I go to claim that voucher. I pull up to the window to a manager telling me that I needed a receipt in order to get my comped food. This was never told to me, and the manager also said they don't take people's names and numbers for complaints. Well obviously in this case, someone did. Whether it was a mistake on their end and against policy should be not be made my problem. Since I just paid bills, I didn't even have enough money in my account to pay for the food, which made for a humiliating experience. Chick-fil-A is centered around above and beyond customer service, and this manager clearly did not reflect that virtue. Very let down from...
Read moreWell, any parents worst nightmare happened here and the staff here saved me from mortifying, public embarrassment and made a crappy situation (pun intended) not so crappy.
My kiddo was playing in the play place and had an accident straight out of a nightmare. It was... everywhere. I ran with him to the bathroom so people wouldn't see, his twin brother at the table and I asked two wonderful ladies to please watch my other while I handled the potty situation. Without hesitation, they did. Another woman brought me everything I needed to clean up, they checked on me, told me to please not worry and that they're happy to help. They packed up our food and helped us get out the door.
I was in tears, full of panic and embarrassment and I am in debt to the two ladies who helped me navigate this situation. (As well as to the poor soul(s) who had to clean up the play place.
I offered to come back and clean it myself, to give gifts, anything really, because none of these young ladies and gentlemen get paid enough to deal with THAT, ya know? They refused all of it. So all this to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping this Mom navigate that situation. It will be a story I tell my kids until I'm old and grey.
Thank you. Thank...
