I purchased the use of two rooms for two nights, requesting one queen double bed room and one king single room, and also put in a special request to put our rooms close together because my grown kids were using the other room. The request was made a month in advance, and occupancy both nights were very low. Here are the issues:
Rooms very far apart: I could understand this if the hotel was nearly full, but that wasn't the case at all. We were fortunate enough to be able to enter the hotel about 45 minutes before official check in, and I can promise you there were lots of rooms left meeting my criteria.
King room had shower only, and nothing was mentioned when reservations were made about this. A combination bath/shower was expected. Also, whoever designed and approved the walk-in shower design with no door/curtain to close to cover the walk-in gap needs to stand in the doorway and feel all of the water spraying on the floor.
Front desk was called at approximately 10:45 pm to verify breakfast hours, and we were told 6-10, only to find out at 9:15 the next morning that the hours were 6-9. We weren't the only ones a little irritated at this mistake. Front desk person was not very apologetic about this either.
Despite outside temperatures being in single digits at check-in, the room heat was turned off, and room temperature was about 55 degrees in one of the rooms.
Despite reserving no-smoking rooms, one room distinctly had had someone smoking in it. Front desk offered Febreeze.
Despite the offer during reservation process of bonus points, and my preferences for what to do with them already entered, no mention was made of them at check in, and at last check, my points...
Read moreRoom 324. Our first issue with this room was that you all turned off the AC to this room after the last guest. We were met with humidity, musk & heat when we entered the room. I nearly slipped as the floor was wet and slippery from the humidity on a 95-degree day when we arrived. From 7:30 pm to nearly midnight we were hot. It was too hot to unpack and take a hot shower, so I had to take a cold shower using your towels that have holes in them. Is anyone in laundry doing a QC? Finally, at 12:30 the room was chilling so we could get some rest. Still not cold but at least we can sleep. We went to the front desk to report gnats in the room (sprayed), tv not working (fixed), AC being off (we apologize) and towels have holes. Last issue is that housekeeping came to exchange the towels and could not wait 15 minutes for my husband to dry off out of the shower. The male housekeeper said that it has to be done now for some reason so we were skipped. Most hotels they can return. I get you no longer clean daily, but the towels are needed. Will not stay again. The hall stinks of musk or weed (reported immediately to avoid a charge to me in error). The room needs an update. I do not know how you are rated #2 in Bellevue. Stayed here before once no issue. Put umbrellas outside so guests can sit comfortably blocking the sun.
I like the size of the room as a former extended stay and food nearby in walking distance. Close to interstate with easy access. Front parking is limited and fills up quickly. Staff is friendly. Bed was comfortable. This was a 4-night stay. Anything longer than 1 night I recommend...
Read moreWe chose this hotel to stay in for our daughter's 9th birthday. My husband was recently relocated due to his job. This meant our girls left behind their best friends. We decided to come back for our oldest daughter's 9th birthday. Her best friend stayed the night with our family. We chose this hotel because it had high ratings, a pool, and a hot tub. We knew that the girls would be spending every available moment in the pool swimming.
Pro's: 1.) The customer service was excellent both checking in and out. Due to a winter storm, the hotel was not very full, and they did not rush us out. 2.) The room was very comfortable. We had a suite-- two queen beds and a sitting area with a couch that pulled out into a bed. The room was nicely laid out. Everyone had a bed. 3.) The pool was heated. The pool water was deliciously warm. We all loved swimming in it. They even had toys that we could use. It was a lot of fun.
Con: The hot tub was not working. It was very cold. This was a bit of a downer because the hotel having a pool and a hot tub was a primary reason for booking at this location. However, it was a minor inconvenience.
Suggestion: The rooms could use hooks to hang towels on. There is no bar in the closet area, but instead a very narrow wardrobe. I found the wardrobe a bit inconvenient, and would rather have had a wider space to hang clothes-- especially heavy, bulky winter coats. Overall: We had a wonderful stay. I would choose this facility again. They were very gracious, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the customer service was above par. Thank...
