Copper Top Bake Shop — Restaurant in Bellevue

Good: Breakfast sandwich I had with scrambled egg, peppers and a few (I believe) other ingredients/herbs, smothered in cheese and topped with loads and loads of THICK JUICY BACON slices, then all stacked between 2 English muffins - was incredible! Service was smiley-friendly, cordial-polite. They explained every possible thing I could do to customize my order and I appreciate that aspect.

Not so Good: *They asked for a tip - the audacity! It was a drive through for 9@^ sake. They’re in business to sell their goods with a pleasant demeanor. It’s not a good principle. I had to wait almost 10 minutes and pull to the side. They should have a video monitor so you can see them making your order as they explain every step. Now, that would definitely be awesome! However, they have a good reason for the wait, as they explained: They don’t have ready-made food like the breakfast sandwiches (for example), each and every order is prepped, cooked, hand catered to your unique specs. *Yes, they have a point and you could always decline the tip, but I tipped them nonetheless. This little shop is such an enjoyable place to go. Cute, clean and it always has thee best breakfast treats (drinks or food). The staff is not just friendly but truly treats you like friends. The only reason I cannot give five stars (and I really wish I could) is because of the location. The drive thru is very tight and because it is such a loved little coffee shop you are usually fighting traffic in a parking lot lol.. But if you're like me and don't mind walking, there is a public parking lot right next door and if that one is full you can park one block down at another public parking. Trust me, ...

I would give this place a 10 if I could!! My son and I were on Kelley’s island and were waiting on the ferry and saw the reviews and wanted to check it out. Drove the 35 minutes I think and it was well worth hit. Everything to the hot food, coffee and pastries were so good!! Not one thing tasted pre made or from a box!!! And I swear that the cinnamon chip muffins had a dalop of real butter in them!! They were so friendly as well. Definitely stop by! They have specials too! You can dine for about 6 bucks and actually get full....
