LakeLine in Bellingham is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff started the experience off right!
We started our morning with their fantastic lattes, which were perfectly crafted – rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to kickstart the day. But the real stars of the show were the food. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, and it was delicious! We also tried the Deviled Egg Toast, and it was equally impressive. This wasn't just any toast; it was a generous slice of perfectly toasted bread, generously slathered with a creamy, flavorful deviled egg mixture. The unique blend of textures and the classic deviled egg taste, elevated with a touch of freshness, made for a truly memorable dish. It's a must-try for anyone looking for something a little different and incredibly delicious.
Beyond the delicious food and coffee, LakeLine offers some fantastic details that make it stand out. Located in the charming Silver Beach neighborhood, it boasts a prime location near Lake Whatcom. This means you can often enjoy breathtaking views of the lake while you dine, adding an extra layer of tranquility to your meal. The vibe inside is welcoming and laid-back, striking the perfect balance between a cozy neighborhood coffee shop and a stylish eatery. For a special, unique touch, they offer post cards you can write while sipping your coffee or cocktail, and they mail them for you! It's clear they've put thought into creating a space where you can relax and truly enjoy your experience.
LakeLine offers cocktails and wine as well, so we're already planning a return visit to experience their evening offerings!
If you're in Bellingham and looking for a top-notch breakfast experience with great food, excellent coffee, and a wonderful ambiance, LakeLine is worth a try.
P. S. They also have dog treats for your canine fur babies. Another...
Read moreA much needed gap in B’ham’s coffee (+ lots more) scene! A group of hiking friends stopped here after our weekly outing and all of us thoroughly enjoyed this spot along the north shore of the lake. Bright and cute decor and truly fantastic service was matched by perfectly crafted coffees -made on a beautiful blue LaMarzocco machine. They are keeping it local with their own blend of Hammerhead beans and feature Water Tank bread and Mount Bakery pastries. My friends enjoyed their lunch offerings. Can’t wait to stop by after a bike ride for a beer or cocktail and to try their food. And don’t forget to check out the art deco-ish woman diver motif on wall sculpture created by the owner and in the tile of the bathroom. Hurray...
Read moreI would not recommend going here in the morning as I think they don't have enough staff for busy mornings. Every time I go in the morning, something is wrong with my drink (wrong size, forget the chocolate in a mocha, use whole instead of oat milk, etc). Obviously mistakes happen, and I used to be a barista so I know how stressful it can get. In the afternoons I have not had this problem.
The food is tasty and I like that they use in house or Monin syrups, as those have the best flavor (torani and davinci are terrible). I have not tried the cocktails. Great view and a few...
