Hershey Shake Shop Creamery — Restaurant in Bellmawr

4 stars only because there is no seating at all. First time going there and the ice cream is delicious!! The staff was very friendly & the establishment was clean. My family & I LOVE to go out for ice cream and go a a few times a week during the warmer month. I know many other families in Deptford area who also frequently go for ice cream and we have all said that the ice cream here is delicious but there is no place to sit or to go & enjoy the ice cream other than your car. With so many other ice cream places in the area who all offer seating and although I can say, Myself & some of my friends have said we do like the quality of the ice cream better then some of the local competitors.. it is a bit out of the way and not many people want to take their families for ice cream and sit in the car with it. There definitely seems to be room for some small tables and chairs so that would be my only suggestion. If you’re able to provide some seating in the future I would definitely be a frequent customer with my family along with other families I know with young children! We made our first trip to the Hershey Shake Shop Creamery this evening. The first thing my husband and I both noticed was how clean and well kept the shop was. The staff was wearing hairnets and fresh gloves which is not something you typically see nowadays. All of the ice cream in the freezer appeared to be fresh and I didn’t see anything freezer burnt. I have celiac so I knew that there were flavors Hershey offers that are safe for me. So I got a scoop of the cotton candy ice cream because I knew it was a safe option for me and historically Hershey’s has always had the best cotton candy ice cream in my opinion. ( This opinion is still unchanged.) My husband got a chocolate shake and I watched the employee make his shake with both cleanliness and precision. The staff were friendly, well-spoken, and polite as well. The only thing we wished was different about our experience was that there was a more readable menu on the wall or displays. And possibly a stack of printed ones to grab one to bring home to look at before our next visit. The building is a delight to step into: clean and friendly. The wall of toppings drew our eyes instantly upon entering. The selection of ice cream flavors had us drooling. The music set a fun mood as we chatted about sweets, treats, and delicious eats.

So far, after two visits, my husband and I have tried the sky high cookie dough sundae with cookie dough and cookies and cream ice cream: an amazing suggestion by Mike (one of the owners.) During the second visit we got a cookie sundae with chocolate chunk ice cream. The cookie was warm and deliciously paired with the ice cream! We also had a simple vanilla ice cream with cherries, which was also delicious!
