We were so excited to try Cinnaholic that we made the trek to Indian Trail to try it before this one opened. It was so good that the only thing saving us from being there all the time was how far away it was.
Now this one opened way closer to us. We've somehow managed to avoid temptation until now when I found out they have free delivery on Doordash to us. There aren't many places that deliver to us on Doordash so this is dangerous.
The have premade selections, but I always prefer to build my own cinnamon roll. They also have a silimar concept with cookie dough, but they only have chocolate chip cookie dough (and I don't like chocolate). My husband has previously enjoyed the cookie dough though.
We treated ourself not only to takeout for lunch yesterday, but also for dessert. I say dessert, but these cinnamon rolls have enough calories for an entire day.
We got two cinnamon rolls. The first one, which we shared, we topped with peanut butter and marshmallow icings, raspberry jam, bananas, marshmallows, and pie crumble. It was heavenly.
The second one we got was topped with cake batter icing, sprinkles, raspberries, strawberries, pie crumble, graham cracker, and marshmallows. Because they're so filling, we put this one in the freezer for later. Hopefully it reheats well!

The store owner Carrie must have been having a bad day, she was very rude and agitated. We heard her put the phone down and say “Why do customers get rude when they want something from me”. First let me explain I was not rude at all just asked a question, she was definitely reflecting her attitude on me. I will say, you get from the universe what you put out. After she got back on the phone as if I didn’t hear her, now this is where I was livid! Asked for corporate phone number she hung up in my face, I had to call from a different number in order for the phone to be answered again. I am so glad I live no where near this location! Read moreI have talked to the owners and the employees about their mask requirements. At first they did not wear them because they constantly have to taste product. They have been wearing them for about a month now. Any time a customer walks in they will put it on unless the costumer themselves is not wearing one. On top of that if you look on the FDA website the virus can not live in food. And if anyone is so worried about if someone has a mask on for the .2 seconds that you walk in before the employee gets it on should not be going out to get food in the first place. You can sit in a restaurant without one. They often use shields as well because it helps the Costner’s understand them and because they have to answer phones and make sure things taste right.
