Shooter's Restaurant & Tavern — Restaurant in Belmont

Long wait for delivery (over an hour and a half), and the portions were laughable. Ordered just this week and got a miserable, cold, tiny meal for around $40 + tip.

The steak tip sub which is listed on their menu as "Half pound of marinated tips grilled" was more like a tiny handful of steak shavings. No peppers and 2 onion slices. It was a bread sandwich. I am surprised their cook let that leave their kitchen, but I guess that's what you get when the cook doesn't care about their job. We ordered waffle fries for an addon charge.. but they forgot to include it. Instead we got 5 regular "chip" style fries. I didn't mean to count them, but when you open your box and it's practically empty, it's hard not to.

The "Shooter's Sampler" appetizer was not worth anywhere close to $16, but that's what they charge. 3 buffalo tenders. 3 mozz sticks. and tiny portion of potato skins and some chopped up egg rolls which frankly weren't very good. For $16, I expected a sizable helping. I'd even forgive the skimpy helpings if either package was filled with fries, but it seems like shooters is afraid they might run out of potatoes.

All in all, 2 items for $40 + tip but I felt like I got gas station quality food with smaller portions. I guess next time we want delivery we'll call somewhere else. If I'm paying $20 per meal, I better not be hungry...

always a time consuming issue getting something while in the pool room, bartender asked what i wanted, told her a malbec. never got it and never saw her after i placed the order and i was there for 4 hours. opted not to order anything to drink after that but since i've always enjoyed their pizza i shared a large pizza with my brother my half was to be no cheese, hamburger, mushrooms and pineapple unusual amount of time goes by and our pizza is brought to the counter, pizza looks very different from last time, the crust was white like a sugar cookie, my half looked pretty dry, the pineapple did not look like it had been exposed to heat and the crust was rigid, which pretty much confirms lack of proper heating. i took a bite, the hamburger was actually sausage and the pizza was barely warm, so i plated my pieces and deposited the plate at the bar. my brother said his half was hot but i know he was lying because he was able to immediately take a bite, there was no heat radiating from either half of the pizza. i usually take pics and will prioritize that in all future submissions to any...

Everyone at my brother's office were raving about this place and we thought we give it a try.

What can I say, it all starts with the service and I can't remember the wonderful lady's name who waited on us and I have to see it is one of the best experiences I have had in a restaurant.

Great service followed by great food is all you can ask for and this place gave me that experience. They story you off with popcorn at each table and this is so you can drink more as popcorn makes you thirsty, but we had ou one person at our table who drinks.

We started off with wings and Nachos for appetizer. I have to say that this is the best dry wings I have had....they on let you pick one flavor,, so we went with plain and they gave us 2 sauces on the side. For the main meal we ordered panini, general gus chicken, Veggie Wrap that was customized for a vegetarian, Mac and cheese and pasta for the kids. Everything was tasty and all of them came with a side.

We were full so we only got one dessert which we shared...
