El Neno restaurant — Restaurant in Beloit

Was not impressed with a plain tasting quesadilla. Only way I got flavor out of it was dipping it in their Verde sauce and that was entirely to spicy to be Verde. I'll stick with the place on 6th Street. This place was not the best. The girls that are up front taking orders are very rude and seem to think everybody that goes there wants them. When they literally are standing in front of the tv. Price of everything is not worth it.

Husband and I stopped in for breakfast and all the food was delicious!! The staff was friendly and attentive! I ordered the huevos con steak a la mexicana and it was 2 eggs, ribeye steak with cooked jalapenos, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce served with rice and beans with torillas! My husband ordered the 2 eggs with bacon toast and american fries. The american fries tasted great and the eggs and bacon were yummy too!! Definately going to be...

My first time here, I got the Mexican omelet w hashbrows and wheat toast. My wife got the French toast w eggs and sausage. Neither were "oh my coming back for this combo." However, it was good, filling and reasonably priced. The restaurant was dated but very clean. The service was intentional. Along with a black coffee and large O.J. cost was $23 before the tip.
