Troy's Philadelphia Style Hoagies — Restaurant in Benner Township

"Troy" talks/brags on the "radio commercial" about his "Philly rolls" and "Boars Head meats"? (Reason I stopped in the Benner Pike location the other day I heard the radio commercial on "the Bus")...well folks, Save your hard earned lunch $$$$!! I'm NOT impressed "Troy"!! Your sandwich is ALL ROLL and NO meat. 1 slice of each "Italian Special"(was not anything SPECIAL) meats that are on your sandwich "Troy"!!??... "We use Boars head meats .." you say? I am NOT planning on stopping here again...EVER!! I thought I'd give you the benefit of the doubt and TRY your sandwich again? Never again!!... anyways along with this goes the PRICE of your wayyy over-priced "garbage"!! $20.00 for 2 subs??!!?? LOL!! You're kidding??!! I can go to "Miller's hoagies" if I drive another 4 miles to Milesburg and get the BEST sub in Centre County (WITH DOUBLE MEAT!!) For under $6.00!!! I will give you the mac salad was good but I WILL drive to Milesburg FROM NOW ON TO SUIT MY SUB SANDWICH TASTES Troy!!!...So much for your "Philly rolls" and Boars head meats!!... For another Fact, I can go to another lunch competitor, Lykens, and get 2 comparable subs "2 for $8.98" (1 for $6.99 so why wouldn't I get 2?? Its a no-brainer folks!! Only thing "fat" about Troy's subs are the PRICE!! Bottom line!! Save your hard-earned lunch $$$$ folks!! Go elsewhere!! -...

Giving one star because of repeated "poor service", when ordering for take out they give you a "time" we arrive just at that time only to find out our food hadn't even been started, oh wait, our fries were done and wrapped sitting on the counter, sandwiches not even started, took an additional 30 minutes on top of the 45 they originally told us and with fries 'waiting" on the counter for THAT long they were the WORST fries I have ever eaten. Just terrible terrible system with pick up/takeout, and a lobby area full of people doing the exact same thing, waiting on food they were told would be ready, one man ordered paid and didn't get his food and had to go, RIDICULOUS, we have given them more than enough opportunities, but no more, plenty of better customer service places...

The best pastrami sandwich I've ever had, and the folks are really nice! I work nearby, so i went there for lunch. Oh, MAN was it amazing! And i don't review places. They deserve it though!!!

Update: I went and ate there 2 more times. I'm seriously not kidding about that pastrami sandwich... I'm not a "foodie" (those people piss me off) but that sandwich was the best thing I've had since I learned how to ride a motorcycle. I had a dream about it and keep thinking about "that pastrami sandwich the girl at Troy's sold me" ooooooohhhh...
