Worst experience. We called ahead to make sure they had a natural gas fryer for a restaurant. A lady picked up and said hello, with the rudest voices ever, you know she didnāt want to be there. I understand it was a Sunday and my family works in a customer service place as well, so I get it when youāre not always in the best mood.
I asked her if she had inquiries and she said yes that she had two in stock. I asked her how much the smaller size is and she said twelve thirty-two forty (literally replied in separate numbers), so I said what do you mean. She literally mansplained it and said one thousand two hundred thirty-two dollars and forty cents. Iām like you canāt just say that in the beginning? Rather than being all rude about it?
We ended it buying it since we needed it urgently and of course itās defected. I call them this morning and Alena picked up. I asked her about the return policy and she said just bring it in. They accept full refunds if it was purchased in 7 days and 15% restocking fee afterwards. I asked if she was sure because we live far away. She said yea just bring it in.
We drove for an hour and a half and upon arriving she said we canāt return it. We needed to call the company. We were afraid that this would happen which is why we called ahead of time. She didnāt provide any explanation and said she didnāt receive any phone calls this morning consulting about a refund. I asked her if her name was alena and she said yes but she didnāt receive any phone calls. She was the only person in the front and basically said we lied about speaking with someone.
I understand that some commercial companies donāt receive returns in the place and that we need to call their main service line for a consultation. However she never mentioned it to us when I called. Practically said rest assure and bring it in.
Iām pretty sure it was the same girl that I spoke with both times because she had the same tone and attitude. 04/24 and 04/29.
This was a terrible experience and a waste of time.
Wait an extra day and go to somewhere else would be my...

I don't run a restaurant, but I have read online that Restaurant Supply companies like this are a good place to shop--if you can get in. Some make you pay for a membership like Costco, some make you prove you have an LLC or a business license. Standard Restaurant does not do any of this, your average joe can walk on in like it's a grocery store.
Walking inside, you see that this is definitely oriented towards business customers and, for the rest of us, value oriented shopping. Decorations are spartan, there's no fancy tile work, decorations, or anything to make this place attractive. Nope, we get Times New Roman signs and NSF standard metal shelves stacked to the brim with restaurant quality goods, in whatever quantity you desire.
Things I can attest to:
Cheap dinnerware. They often have sales on durable ceramicware. They also have deals on basic, stainless steel silverware (though they definitely have fancy stuff by the dozen) and cooking gadgets.
Glassware. They sell Libbey Brand Duratuff glassware, which is nice and strong, and Carlisle Brand tumblers (you know, those Red Plastic Cups every pizza place and cheap restaurant seems to have? Well, there's a reason for that: they are cheap and DO NOT BREAK....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust had the worst experience at this store. Our first time there with our aunt and uncle who are frequent customers at this store. Apparently our aunt and uncle had great experiences with the store associatesā help when they would ask if an item is in stock. However, for todayās visit we had the worst experience when asking for help to see if something may be in stock, but just not on the shelves. Jason was the name of the store associate that came to see if we needed help. We asked him to see if they have small cups less than the ones on the shelf which were 24oz. He said thereās none in stock and whatās there is all thatās left which was opened. We knew there were more of the 24oz in another aisle, but just said ok. Later, he came by a few times asking us several times if we needed help with anything and each time we asked him if different items are in stock his irritation and attitude progressed telling us he has already told us multiple times there isnāt anything in stock and if an item listed is empty on the shelf then thereās no more. We ended up checking out with a nice cashier, but not sure if Iāll come back if that is the kind of service they provide to...
