Cheshire Market — Restaurant in Berlin Township

Brother and I decided to go have the pizza buffet at the Cheshire Market today. It’s unassuming pizza place in the back of a combination convenience store and bait shop. They have a lengthy cold table with everything you need for a great salad and more. The ranch dressing was delicious. On to the real deal, the pizza. They put around 4 pizzas out at a time. Lots of variety while we were there. I had a pepperoni/mushroom/onion first. This was on a pizza dough that was perfectly cooked. Not crispy but still had structure to it. The sauce had a smooth taste to it. Not real spicy. The cheese was nice and creamy which was cooked to have the slightest browning to it. It was perfect. Also tried a pepperoni/onion slice and a plain cheese. Also a pepperoni/mushroom/onion slice. Several other. The waitress that was taking orders, running the bar and clearing tables was rocking it. They had 3 people running the kitchen in back. Very little wait time between changing out pizzas. Overall it was a great experience. For sure I will return. I came here because I had read an article calling this the best pizza in Ohio. What I found did not disappoint. The crust was amazing, and the pepperoni was great. The real standout, though, was the spicy sauce. The sauce had a nice tangy taste to it that was great on its own, and even better on the pizza. Our server was incredibly friendly and personable, and was eager to tell us about the pizza and all their offerings.

A couple of notes that I haven't seen on Google about operations. Although the market itself is open at 6am, they generally do not start serving pizza until around 10:30. They also have an all you can eat buffet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from open to close (lunch and dinner). Tuesdays are spaghetti and salad, and...

Called to place an order to be delivered. I place my order which was about $42.00 the person asked my name and phone number and nothing else. I tried to ask if they needed a credit card because of it being delivered and was hung up on. I call back within just a minute and the same female answered the phone I asked if they needed a credit card to place the order. She stated and I quote " If that is how you are going to pay" I explained that she never asked about payment and that was why I called back... again I quote "well give me the number" as if annoyed that I called back. That was enough for me..... Told her not to bother, canceled the order and called Sharky's they are...
