Originally was taken to this spot by ex-bf living in Galena, now, a yr later, and my kids and I still take trips out here! Small place so during the summer they can get a little busy but so worth it! Adorable spot where everything's outdoors for the public, just walk onto the patio and order at the window, either grab a spot on the patio under the roof or enjoy the picnic tables by the shrubs. They even have a drive thru option. Could use more seating in the grass area but that also means you're not super crowded by other patrons. Great ice cream flavors and seasonal options as well. They have a make your own ice cream sandwich option where you can choose the flavor cookies and ice cream. My kids get a kick out of the sprinkle eyeballs that come on every order. For those with young kids, the kids cup is the PERFECT portion size for them! I called before I drove up to see what time they were opened so I could try their ice cream for first time and they said 10pm. I arrive at 938 and walk up and they say they are closed. I wish they would have mentioned they may close early if they are slow when I called at 8:40pm.

After my the first experience I was contacted by management to rectify the situation. I’m glad I went back. The ice cream is delicious and they have a myriad of flavors to pick from.
