Golden Touch Pretzels — Restaurant in Berlin

We've been buying pretzels there for years for our family and our children for years unfortunately this weekend we had a very bad experience the pretzel seem not to be cooked properly other process somehow seem to be botched!! we end up with nauseation tingling in her mouth throat sore weird tingling burning sensation little Cuts in our mouths upset stomach and diarrhea cramping and our stomachs we reached out to the girl over the counter to allows her to know the situation of the pretzels currently so hoping that she would pull them or not selling it anymore of them we advised her to bring it to her boss's attention she asked for her number we gave it to her gladly and let her know the situation we were feeling it took over 2 hours for her boss to return our phone calls and the suggestion to resolve this was to give us more pretzels I guess that's really the answer to the solution LOL( sure insult after insult that's what I would think that would be) but meanwhile for 72 hours we are absolutely sick to our stomachs we end up reaching out and getting medical attention for the situation what the doctors notation we glad we did so because it could be something more serious playing with food not prepared properly can cause more harm than good and it's in all different directions please be careful eating these pretzels!!!! Before you go on and hate about how this place doesn't use masks and gloves, when they stack the pretzels.. they are baked at 225° and they come out piping hot, after they are done stacking, servers make sure they don't touch the pretzels with their hands, they make sure to use wax paper. I've seen it first hand, not only that but they're pretzels are baked mutiple times a day and if they come out wrong they must be thrown out because they have to be in tip top shape, at the end of the day employees have to throw out the unused pretzels because they are in no shape to be served the rest of the day. So whoever said something about day old pretzels is quite literally lying, everyone who is working there makes sure to take care of the pretzels, and I know! We stumbled onto this place while looking for Howard and Nan’s Record Shop which, sadly, was closed… but we did get to discover Golden Touch Pretzels. Freshly made pretzels! Delicious! Cash only and there will be a line, so be patient. There’s a window where you can watch the pretzels being made.
