Jr’s Pitas and Plates — Restaurant in Berlin

Kudos to Jr’s Pitas & Plates! Finally got around to trying them last Friday (9/5/25)! Best lamb/beef gyros (pronounce them yee-rohs please) around “these here parts!” Bar none! Gyro was warm where it was supposed to be, and cold where it was supposed to be. The meat was flavorful and plentiful. The tzatziki sauce was very good! Good job!

BONUS: Super friendly service!

Okay, suggestion here. I only wish they had a small side Greek salad as an offering (only lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta cheese, kalamata olives, with a red wine vinaigrette would do).

Where to start? We were greeted so warmly. The hospitality was greater than we could have expected. True family vibes. I brought my grandparents who NEVER deviate from their typical rice and beans. I begged them to try something different. The gave in. All 5 of us opted to try the gyro. Some of us lamb, the rest chicken. We also grabbed the Dolmas. They offered to top them with feta. Ohhhh boy 😓. What a hidden gem. We’re coming...

Ive been in the hospital dealing with a spinal cord injury, and i was CRAVING the spanakopita! I Sent my mother down today and they were sold out. After talking to my mom and finding out why she needed it, they so graciously made me one. You guys have no idea how much that warmed my heart!
